Those lycra clad UK fiends should have something to cheer about next year.... a track Searle is strong at (and has won at), a (touchwood) healthy Dean Wilson with a years 450 experience and then Jake Nichols with another years development for the 250F spot. Thats a potential winning team right there. haha.

Thats if the ACU will stump up the money to fly Wilson over this year...! But yeah, on paper its a great team!

Hopefullly lots of choice soon. Both EBB and Mel Pocock seem to be coming good. While good 'ole Essex boy Jake Nichols is going from strength to strength (hard to believe that a couple of years ago there were plenty of people on MXTrax who were saying he was useless and only got the GP ride 'cos of daddy's money - sure showed them, eh?)

Hey,you know Ipswich is in Suffolk, the Brightwell manor is across the other side of town from myselfLaughing

EBB went incredibly well there too, hopefully Wilson will be there though, too many politics in the camp sometimes,we could podium next year for sure

To be honest (hides for cover), I'm not too in tune with the fresh blood coming up through the UK ranks. Mel Pocock is clearly a shredder though, be interesting to see where that speed places him in the MX2 class. Didn't look at lap times, wonder how far off he was to the pro race pace?

Don't forget Max Anstie will be on the factory 250f suzuki team next year. A better bike then the one he had this year.

Even if they think Musquin didn't do as well as he should have in past years, I think it was a mistake to pick Tixier over him. I'm not saying Marvin was going to be beat Herlings, but I definitely think that if he were to return to the GPs he would be much faster than Tixier.

Wow, they are nuts if they think Tixier is a better choice than Musquin.

20th in superfinal at Qatar
24th in superfinal at Thailand
15th in superfinal at Brazil

Musquin should have been picked for Open class really

Tixier had a faster lap time then Herlings 2 weeks ago. He's just a bit too inconsistent, but yeah definitely Marvin over Jordi. France has a strong team with a bit of depth incase of injury.

EDIT: Just read TMV's post, wow, can't believe they didn't put Musquin in!

That sucks... Our podium chances are going away, it's just sad. Top 5 would be a good result.

First time they make the decision so early as if It was an evidence. I suppose they asked him. Season is long, he may need a rest...

I would've probably picked Marvin over Jordi but I don't think Jordi is necessarily a bad pick either. Neither Musquin nor Tixier are going to beat the likes of Tomac, Herlings or Roczen imo - so obviously it just comes down to nailing a solid pair of results, probably somewhere in the top 5. Just a shame Steven Frossard is injured again. I was hoping he could get the ball rolling after a somewhat decent comeback in Sweden, but there you go.

Didn't Musquin win two overall this year already, beating Tomac and Roczen in the process ?

Weirdly Steven is known to be super solid in his head but something went wrong at a time and now he is in a vicious circle. Paulin and Van Horebeek did participate to that parking him straight up when he came back. I do think they managed to get into his head cause he seemed resigned in the pits in Sweden saying to his crew "It's ok I'm done, one almost cut me in half!" (on Motors TV when his shirt was all torn), not typical Frossard I would say. This plus all the bad luck. Honestly, I felt it in his sayings on his facebook page prior his come back, wasn't as confident as he was before...

I want to hear O'Rob take before commenting... But i'm pissed. If MM refused, it's an other deal, but it's doubtful.

who knows maybe it was MM decision?

I take Musquin over Charlier, Tixier isn't necessarily a bad choice he has the ability to finish top 3 (Herlings & Roczen Open?)

Tixier should be in the team as the MX2 rider.... it's Charlier as the Open rider instead of Marvin Musquin that is a big WTF

I agree with a guy who said they probably asked him before making a decision. If not then yes, WTF!

Honestly, this is the only reason I found cause on the paper, Tixier over Musquin in MX2 is a nonsense so is Charlier over Marvin in Open.
Paulin in MX1 is an evidence, Tixier in MX2 is the second best pick after Marvin and Charlier well, It seems the 450 suits better his physical style. Maybe he will surprise as Gautier did.

I enjoyed the pics . That is a cool looking track . Home track advantage for the Germans wearing #1 #2 #3 . The pressure is on .

I'm really looking forward to the MXoN 2013 .

i dont see Germany as a serius competitor to the trofy this year. But i will be cool to see them with the #1,#2 and #3 on the bikes. All so the crowd will be loud for Nagl and Kroc. Any one know if it will be Schiffer og Daniel Siegel as 3th man on the team?

Yes Tixier has got better and better as the season's gone on,he has the potential to beat a lot of 250 guys,Musquin has the potential to do likewise in the open class as opposed to Charlier
