any three riders... any! Who can have a lower three moto score than Eli and the Ryans, in Germany, this fall.

Oh, not from the USA? Get some prayer beads. You're gonna need em.

well last year , you got beat by Roczen and two guys you never heard of, so anything can happen.

On paper, there is no way you should ever lose, being the largest country in the world , tends to have its advantages , not just in MX , but in general.

I just hope that the best riders are all fit , and everyone rides for the win

We're not the largest country in the world! Third largest, in both population and square kilometers/miles. Jus' an FYI Wink

I'd pick the GP guys to win most of the motos, but for the team race.... I'm forced to agree with the OP - USA should have this one fairly easily with RV, RD and ET (assuming that is the line up). What other team has 3 riders of that calibre? France and Belgium will likely be the next best, but after that every other team has one or two fatal flaws.

That argument doesn't really work when you are talking about such a small team as 3 riders, but it's a handy excuse for some folks.

The ISDE proves how silly it is.

I think Belgium will be strong , but Italy dont have anyone to back Cairoli up... GB would have had a shot with Searle, Wilson and Nichols, but without Deano , we dont have enough... unless they all hit top form . My vote goes to AC winning MX1, Roczen MX2 and herlings MX3 .. and US saying 'we rode as a team' LOL

No, the ISDE proves that the fastest off-road riders don't come from the US.

And that size of country makes little difference when picking six riders, three would be exponentially easier.

So with your logic, since the ISDE proves that the US doesn't have the fastest riders when they lose, and the MXdN doesn't prove that the US has the fastest riders when they win, the US just can't be the best. No matter what. Did I get that right?
