I may be the minority here but I can't imagine going through life without my other half. She has given me an amazing baby boy and I imagine life boring and lonely without her in it.

Not that it is anyone's else's biz, but he's also said on Pulp they're friendly...

Anyone saying shit like cheating or money involved should stfu.

You don't know. And even if you do, you should still stfu. DV and Erica do, they're obviously moving forward, they're kids are good, and that's all that matters.

Don't forget
There's like 4-5 billon people on earth
When you get married its odds against both that your decision was correct that you to were meant to be
If your good people then You can move on and take care of kids with class and love
At least you have the smarts to move on and not keep the bleeding going
I have never been divorced but don't think there is anything wrong with those who have
At least they gave it a shot
Like racing
If you don't win would you say
Why did I race ?
You can't control your other half
But you can control yourself
So if you did that then You win every time

That sounds like the shit my dad used to say when I was coming up playing various stick and ball sports. " As long as you gave it your all you are a winner son" okay dad but losing still sucked ass!! lol

Married for 16 years now. The tough times should bring you closer not drive you apart.
All depends on how much work your willing to put in.

It's just like racing. If your are willing to work hard and put in the effort despite any setbacks that may occur you will be successful.

From the outside looking in, most of the people who know my ex-wife and I would blame her for our divorce. But in reality if I had put as much effort into my first marriage as I do now and not taken so much for granted, there's a better than decent chance I'd have not ended up divorced. In some ways that would have been good, but things have turned out really well and my wife and my ex are both fantastic mothers to my children so maybe things were just "meant to be".

I've got as far as being engaged, but that was about it... sometimes wish I'd sealed the deal just for a Green Card.. hahaha (she was based in San Diego). Could have been divorced and 'merican by now. hahaha!

Seems like you know if you're relationship is doomed or not by the 2 year mark. Serotonin levels depleting, true colours out to see...

Send me your American girlfriends. I still need a Green Card! hah

My wife and I started living together in 1990. Been through Uni, three kids, lots of jobs and moves around the world. We both come from broken homes (4 marriages for my mom and 3 for her mom) so we probably try a bit harder than some. You can't break trust and when you scrap, be the bigger one and get in there and talk it out before it escalates. However ... I've worked with women and men who have that personality to never take any blame and make sure they pin it on someone, even if it's just some petty issue. That's when I realise that divorce must be the only option in some cases... Who cares who did it? We're all involved. It's done. Learn and move forward.

Anyway, all the best to DV and family. They both seem like cool people.

Hey, it's worked in the past!
Nicole Beck, J-Law, Insanity wolf, Cox vs. Dandunes, KWalker.

Will any of these get this thread to where it belongs?

I was just reading a thread on Race desert. This guy asked if the cost of racing the Baja races was worth it.
I replied...it is expensive to race Baja...but the 2 most expensive things I have ever done happen to be 2 of the best things Ive ever spent money on. One was commiting to racing Mex for 2 years and the other was the divorse lol!!!

My belief is that if you got a long just fine at one point and enough to get married then there should be no reason you can't get a long going forward. What happens is resentments, anger, bitterness get in the way and people call it quits. My ex walked out on me for those reasons. Just couldn't let herself get past her own bitterness and anger against me and I pulled away from her because I was tired of being yelled at everyday for something and being treated like a kid but I never wanted to get divorced. I figured we would work through it because if I didn't go through it with her it would be with someone else.

Le Cobra has posted this on twitter plenty of times it's not exactly secret information since twitter is yanno public. I do think making a thread about it is lame.
