I am appreciative that Mike Sullivan has taken the time to weigh in here.
That said, after days of investigating this, taking a ton of heat from my brothers and listening, I believe the best course is to follow the Pitello's.
Mr. Sullivan, it appears that your property has run its course. For what ever reason, the Legion has decided to push out
the Pitello's.
A fatal mistake. We back loyal MX core.
I am calling for all my MX brothers to put their loyalty behind the Pitello's and not the Legion.
This is an opportunity to find a location in New England that is much more viewer friendly venue, and begin the next dynasty.

The Land-Owner wants a piece of what they perceive as all the money that "Everyone-else" was making...OK. Also, they say they're "losing money" on the deal? Fine. The Promoter (Leasing the Property) has said the new numbers that they got from the land-owner aren't gonna work for them. So, there's that end of it.
MX Sports has said they're certainly aren't stoked about ANY of this; but, that's the way things go. Oh, by the way, our guy at MX Sports has even come in here & made it clear that he likes this promoter & hopes to move forward with him/them if the opportunity arises. OK.
All this other crap with the "He said/She said" between the 2 parties, there in Southwick, is not even important...anymore.
Furthermore, if ANYONE wants to imply that loyalty between business partners (MX Sports & the 338 Promoters) is a bad thing? Uh, sure.
The last-point: for the very few of us that truly understand the business aspects of all of this...
MX Sports has a "Property" that they "License" to a select few & there-by provides those select few an opportunity to make a profit...if they can manage to run the event...profitably...that is.

That's up to the Promoter.

But it is their land and they can price it how they want. And counter parties can say no. All without either playing foul.
It's the same with any track, including Glen Helen or any venue here or in the GPS. The series promoter can say we need x and the event promoter/track owner can say he wants y. If they don't agree, no deal. Happens every day up and down the economy.
And it gets more complicated when there's a third party land owner.
Curious how many of the current tracks are on leased land.
