Is it just me or does Monster Energy Pro Circuit team always riding press day? There sure is a lot of local riders racing that weren't there today. Biased picks or just the way it is?

They have done 2 of the last 6 press days. (Hangtown was pretty much everyone invited that was on a team.) Not biased and just the way it is. There were 8 locals riding press day today. I think that's plenty.

That doesn't seem fair to the other teams that they get back to back extra practice on the track. All the locals should be able to ride press day since its their one day a year. Why should Pro Circuit get special treatment cause they are Monster? That clearly isn't fair to the rest of the riders and teams. If any race on the series is considered Geico Honda's home track, it's Southwick since Factory Connection is in NH and they are at every local race.

There were 8 locals riding press day. I've seen lower at past press day events this year.

It's a press day. Not a practice day. It can't be a free for all and have every rider show up and turn the day into an open practice. If the riders wanted time on the track, they would do it prior, such as Cooper Webb did in the spring. Tracks have been drier on press days as well while Saturdays have been notoriously wet starting off.

Right, it shouldn't be everyone but locals for sure and then who else? Points leaders? Race winners? Question is, who decides who rides? Actually never mind, I'm not going to argue but they were certainly practicing it's clearly an advantage to get more track time even if the track was a highway.

Excellent track mind and I am soooo looking forward to watching this go down - i honestly feel a few may well hang it out a little more than usual, to be the 1st winner on a track is special, to be the last.......well.

Whatever happened to the days of not fully grooming the track after the previous nesc race. I would even look fast when the tracks that smooth. Advantage, non- sand riders.

Pretty sad this will be the last time there. Always a good track just because it gives the guys something different.

Yeah I have a video from 99 when they didn't touch it the week before. It was really rough.
