Message from teammanager Beursfoon: From is FB page, translated from dutch Wink

'new round, new opportunities, just put Michael Leib on the plane. We can't do anything with people who are just trying to rip us off.. We ain't doing this again, no more foreign riders for me'

So no Leib in GP's then... Bummer!

Wow, so what De Reuver tweeted earlier was true then...!

Wonder what the back story to this is? Such a shame.

Personally I think it's opposite, 0 race winnings and bikes u get the week of the race to learn how to ride arnt easy and I can see a little compensation being fair, I'm racing the gp this weekend and my deal is I can get 300 euros OR I can keep the pro grip helmet and goggles AND THE BAG for myself. I picked keeping the gear, true story I'd rather have the memory to put up on my wall then 300 bucks!

He just asked if it's true that Leib was already heading back to the US. Only thing Leib himself had to say so far was an instagram of the plane he was about to board.

If you are racing that 350 Honda- please try to post some photos! We (can't believe I'm speaking for Vitards now) would really like to see more photos of that bike and you racing it.

Thanks in advance.

The 350 is being worked on by a-team for the next Italian sx race in July, this week I will be racing a Yamaha 450 and I got to ride it today. Had a pretty big crash but I'm fine, the tracks out here are so much different n can bite you in the ass fast so thanking my luck I got off easy.

Michael is in Italy and is not coming home, at least not till next week. Things fell apart with Beursfoon which is unfortunate. The team is a good team with good people but neither side was happy with what was going on.

Wonder what the issues were on this one. Sub par equipment? Salary dispute?

So in a pr over here, the team stated that Michael could not ride longer as 15 to 20 minutes by his arm injury.

the coorperation between Michael and the team got worse by demands from him the team could not do.
the team did everything Michael whised and kept themselfs at the contract.

the team thinks Michael's actions where based to get of the team so he can ride at another team.

Here's the translation of the official press-release about Micheal Leib:

Beursfoon Rockstar Suzuki team will stop immediately the cooperation with Michael Leib!

The Beursfoon Rockstar Suzuki Team has decided to immediately terminate the cooperation with Michael Leib.

In November 2012 Michael Leib was guest driver for the team during some supercross races and has a number of tests done on the engines of the team. This pleased him so well that the plan was hatched to the Grand Prix and Dutch Championship to ride in 2013. After all, his contract with Kawasaki CLS was broken and he was looking for a new team. We wanted to help him, as he is a talented rider and certainly was an asset to the team.

In the winter he raced some supercross races in America for the team of his father and then he broke his arm. Michael was back riding too fast which caused his arm partially broke again, which meant that he had to miss the first few races of the Dutch Championship and the Grand Prix of Valkenswaard. There was contact with Michael weekly but unfortunately did his arm healed poorly.

End of May then there was finaly the moment that Michael came to the Netherlands. Despite reports that in America he was training every day, he could no longer ride here in the Netherlands, 15 to 20 minutes. The team contacted a specialist in the Netherlands to study his medical condition.
The collaboration with the team, however, worsened by the fact that Michael Leib increasingly asked for unrealistic demands. The team has fulfilled all his wishes and the contract agreements. The team always does everything the rider wants to enable them to perform well. Possibly his actions were intended to force an arguement so that he could accept an offer from another team.

The above reasons is why The Beursfoon Rockstar Suzuki Team has decided to break the cooperation with Michael Leib with immediate effect.

We are sorry that we have to take this decision, especially for all loyal sponsors / business partners who have been waiting long for the arrival of Leib.

For over 15 years we are in the motocross-industry and have never experienced anything like this. We will consider us about our future plans.

That's $400 US dollars and yes that is not enough for what you risk by racing. I hope you are getting some salary too if not, it's time to sit down and re-figure things.

Its a business issue between Michael and Team Beursfoon. And to give my opinion it does not make either one of them look to good. But business is business and its between them and not us. Lifes about learning and I am sure they both learned life lessons.

Crazy how the trouble follows the Leib's to more places than not, and it's a big question as to why he doesn't have a ride, because he is deserving, no doubt about that!?!

Not everyone thinks the kid is an angel. Nothing wrong or untruthful about it. No reason to bring up past events to bash anyone though. Hope he gets a ride and keeps it as much as the next guy. Too little is known from both sides of this story.

Compared to about 80% of the comments on this board that seems pretty mild in comparison.
