RV is a machine , that guy is riding so hard and going places nobody else goes. it's a combination of Rider, Bike and just complete Mental commitment mixed with toughness.

Dam guy is so good right now there is no words to do him justice.

We are witnessing "Moto Brilliance" by RV. I cannot understand how anyone would boo him.... he recovered traumatic injuries to be one of the best in our sport's history. Do I want to see more bar banging....? ABSOLUTELY. RV2 is a beast and I am enjoying his ride.

Im still betting on Dungey for the title,all he needs is to stick with RV in a moto. High Point moto 1 helped Dungey mentally, going to the outside of the uphill triple in moto 2 hurt Dungey, also not trippling on top of the jump after the off camber.Just small things, still confident in my guy,

First off, I'm not talking about RV because his results say it all. He is the best rider in the world right now, and there is only one other rider in the same league doing everything he can to try and ride with him. Few if any "annoying fans" actually disrespect RV, it is mostly fans of other riders (like myself) who get sick and tired of the over the wall BS a small group of RV fans throw out there constantly to discredit other great riders. I do believe the majority these RV irritants are bandwagon jumpers and not true fans of MX or RV for that matter.
So that said, besides winning 7 of 8 motos so far, what impresses me as much is how RV ran a 2:02 then a 2:01 the last 2 laps at muddy creek to almost take 2nd overall. The kid is an animal, the total package, tell Auntie he is very much respected.

Nice ... completely agree with your post! The supposed RV fans are actually dudes being stupid and stirring up crap.

Most of the "normal" vitards on here (me included) respect the heck out of all the riders and can appreciate the skills they have and the work they put in to be successful. I do not favor one rider over another. I just like good racing and love to watch the skill it takes to win.

Auntieof2, RV is great rider and this era reminds me so much of the Rick Johnson / Jeff Ward era with RV playing the part of Johnson and Dungey playing the part of Ward. RV reminds me so much of Johnson with his never say die attitude and aggressive style of riding. His perseverance in overcoming both his rivals and career-threatening injuries have made me such a fan of this guy. He just doesn't quit.

I hope to attend Unadilla this year so I can see him ride in person. I missed him in 2010 when I was last there. I've seen all the greats in person except for RV.

Snubbed a bunch of diehard fans in TO, I was one of them. Now I know that his time is precious, and no one can do everything right, but he has a tough act to follow as one of the greatest. More to being a great champion than going fast IMO.

When RC was winning everything, Kawasaki sales went down, and not everyone "loved" him that is for sure.

I think he is doing better at communicating, not just reading a sponsorship board. The fans want a piece of him, and he can give them some with a more open personality. It's coming along.

Tell her he is a great racer and is so far out front that there are no battles, and good TV follows the battles....and he is making a ton of money and will buy her something nice.
