Not only were they probably not cheap to begin with, now you have to go through the hassle to replace them before the next event. That hassle is usually worse that the cost involved by far. I hate a thief more than most anything else and had to deal with a similar issue lately myself.

Maybe, just maybe someone will come through and return them when they "realize" they weren't there for the taking.
