Lol I though he may have got like tenth or something. I would not expect him to smash everyone but I expect merry to win.

Tedesco openly said he would keep racing if the price was right,

Why would you feel sorry for someone who's price was higher than what the market would bear ?

Or Colton Facciotti is actually just fast?

Last year the dude rode with a busted up shoulder, so the Georke domination played a part in that.

If you recall 2011, he raced Southwick on his bike from Canada and got 5th in one moto, then filled in at TLD for the remainder of the year where he finished an 8th in one moto at Pala, a 10-13 at steel city.

Not to mention Brett is on Facciotti's territory now where he has all the confidence and comfortably in the world.

Didn't Preston beat Metty at Glen Helen recently? It's not like 2010-2011 Metcalfe out there.

I wouldn't say it was a slaughter, I just got back from the race. Colton was fast no doubt about it, as was Metty. Brett had a couple of bobbles both moto's and there was lappers everywhere!! I don't think anyone would have beat Colton today, but it was hardly a slaughter by any means.

whats interesting is that both guys have been off for a year coming off injuries. hopefully both keep improving and finding more speed and perhaps can hit up a few nats down south after the series is over ( i know wishful thinking). metty got beat straight up no if ands or buts. hopefully both these guys come out swinging next weekend where the track is a bit sandy and gets hella rough

Colt did slaughter the field. I just got back from the race myself. Awesome weather, aside from wind, and as Metty said he was surprised at how gnarly the track ended up, with all the breaking bumps etc. Colt was smooth as butter and even did the last lap and a half with a broken subframe. His 5 second victory over Metty during Moto 2 would've been way more. More like 15 seconds like Moto 1. He was noticeable slower that last 1.5 laps (he couldn't sit down)Laughing Awesome racing between 3rd and 6th in Moto 2 between Kiniry, the Medaglia brothers, and Maier. Kiniry and J.Medaglia came together at one point and lost a few spots. On the last lap J.Medaglia caught his brother Tyler and made the pass for 3rd with only a few turns left before the checkers. It was a great day of racing, with a decent spectator turnout even though there was next to no advertisingUnsure

Was that wrong? Should I not have done that? I'm sorry, I'm gonna have to plead ignorance on this thing, because if I had known that sort of thing was frowned upon...

Took a big digger near the end of Moto 1, DNF'd and didn't ride second moto. Not sure of his status.

taken from another post:Tyler was trying to pass Brad Nauditt for third with 2 laps to go in the first moto but crashed hard in the process, rang his bell and bruised his hand/wrist so DNF that moto, and called it a day. He'll be fine for next week, and looked great until the crash.
