Okay , I will send $20.00 cash to the closest guess. We will get the approx number from DC next week.

to the nearest thousand. for example 22,499 = 22, 000 or 22,501 = 23,000

my guess is 24,000 but I'm not playing.

Whats your thoughts will all the people crying for years "We need a Race" Will they show up ?

Published attandance includes everyone on property whether they work there, get a comped entrance from the promotor, pay to get in or compete in the event.
If a sewer line backs up.....the plumber that comes to fix it is part of the "published attandance"......lol.

I would be more inclined to believe if it's a good turn out the Numbers are down played

I mean who in their right mind would publish real numbers in a predominately Cash business ?

Cash flows elsewhere without any reporting at all I am sure......and ticket sales have moved to a large part online, always a record of that.

The published numbers are what you take to the folks that you want to get interested for next time.....that is the place where it makes sense.
If you can say to prospective investor....."we had 45,000 in attendance" versus "We had 37,000 in ticket sales"....it is going to sound a lot better.

As I said it is very common especially in the entertainment industry to inflate the number.
Nothing succeeds like success as they say.

Again just messin with ya a little I know what you meant.....boring day at work.
