Thats a weep hold for the spark plug cavity. It looks like mud got past the spark plug cap and came through the weep hole.

The parts list shows a 6mm X 10mm bolt on that side of the cylinder go to your dealer and see if yours is missing.

That bolt does exist, but it's not for the hole he is showing in the picture.

its the case breather hole for the NoS button on the handle bars that leads to the flux capacitor...duh xnationalwrench

seriously though clearly he needs to change the muffler bearing seals.

and maybe after washing his bike he can grab the air compressor and blow out the spark plug hole....so the water wont rust the plug and leak out of the weep hole like a 16 year old popping zits in the mirror

seriously i thought the park plug was in the bottom end by the tranny not the head i mean that where the NoS plugs in right..........

this one time at band camp...i saw a picture of a leaky cyl head.......you know what they did with that leaky head.....they used compressed air to blow out the water from washing the bike.....and you know what happened....no more leaky head....amazing....

thanks for the bolt tip though xnationalwrench seriously i did that on my 2006 rmz/kxf 450dfjhf and it totally solved the problem at the weep hole....but now my spark plug cap keeps blowing off like a teenage boy who found his first hustler

is there a bolt to hold the plug cap down too....maybe a 6mm x 20mm that was cut with a hacksaw to be a 6mm x 10mm

ps love you xnationalwrench Woohoo Blush Dizzy Evil

xnationalwrench. I think you're looking in the wrong place. The picture clearly shows that it's the spark plug weep hole. I'm thinking you're looking at the bolt for the oil passage to the head. When you change the oil, and start the bike, you're supposed to loosen that bolt and make sure oil drips out of it so you know it's flowing to the head.
