I say they change the rules and we send 2 guys per class to race. You know, just to show off the USAs depth of talent.
If this were the case no other country would have a chance

They dropped the under 23 rule,USA can basically send ANYONE they like

The Ryans and one of the Honda boys Barcia of Tomac as,Baggett has struggled both times in Europe,Barcia made mistakes but got to grips in Lommel and showed a LOT of heart,he'd be my pick

(2 pages in and no GP vs AMA must be a record..)

I honestly cant see Barcia dropping back down to a 250.

While it is early the money is on Villopoto, Dungey, and Tomac. Stewart, if he didn't crash every time he rides, would be fun to watch but why take the risk? It is unlikely he would finish all the motos.

How old is Dungey? RV would be 24-26 I assume?

Unless Stewart begins knocking it out of the park week in and week out against the Ryans, it's hard to imagine RD putting him on the team. You have to think if everyone's healthy, it's RV, RD and then Baggett or Tomac stepping back to 250.

But it's early.

Baggett? Why Baggett??!!
Baggett might go quite well at Teutschenthal though. Unless it rains and it becomes slippery like it sometimes does there.

I think Tomac would/will make a good MXdN rider. He''s pretty consistent and dependable on most surfaces and has raced outside of the US numerous times already.

I was looking into booking the Ferry crossing or Eurotunnel yesterday, can't wait for it already!

Not withstanding injuries, it'll more than likely be RV MX3, RD MX1 and Tomac or Baggett MX2 (I'd lean towards Tomac).

If healthy, RV and RD are a no brainer. James.... possibly if one of the Ryan's is out and he's doing great outdoors. But otherwise he's just too sketchy.

As above, I think Blake would be fast round Teutschenthal just as long as it doesn't rain. He was good in France until it rained Saturday night. Assuming Eli has a good year (and there's no reason to think he won't be a title contender all the way) I'd be tempted to send him instead.

Am I right in thinking that even if Zach Osborne has an awesome National season, they (the FIM) won't let him ride for Team USA now anyway? I thought I read that at some point least year.

NephewOfUncleof2 is always strong, so if he is injury free, we can assume he will be a pick.

Dungey is a given. He will be there.

The three of them would probably be the most dominant team since 1986 in Maggiora, if they are all in top form in September. The biggest wild card obviously would be Jimmy.

But...no 250F guy. Who would do the deed? All 3 of them have "outgrown" them. There was a little man by the name of Bob, in 1987, who rode a yellow one titty five.

So, NephewOfUncleof2 for MX1, the Dunge for MX3, and MX2.....

RD, RV, ET. Dropping a rider down is a silly idea. Ask Kevin Windham

There was a rutted corner in that video that he only had his rear tire in, just wide open on the 125 that is defying physics.

I feel like if healthy, Dungey and Villopoto have to be your 450 entrants. As for the 250, if Stewart is riding great then I don't see why not. I can't see him doing it though. Tomac would be a better option.

Bob Hannah on a 125 at Unadilla. Maybe he'll drop down again and ride if todays riders can't handle it. Thanks for ruining a awesome 125 video with that crappy music......hearing the motor would have been awesome.
