Please help save the track by clicking on the link and signing this petition, every little bit helps the state is trying shut down a track that has a lot of money, man hours, hard work and dedication, and blood sweat and tears, This track is always very well maintained and everyone truly cares about the riders and the community, it would be a sad day to see it shut down ,and we need the signatures to help save it.

Thank you guys, everything is greatly apprciated

I saw a blurb on the news about them wanting to shut this down. Why exactly is that again? Far better maintained than Jordan River, and since its clearly an advanced track I don't hear about as many injuries on it either. Which is good, because if half of the squids that ride Jordan River hopped on that track it would be pure carnage. Signed!!!

I ride at both places. Throttle 215 has triple the amount of jumps Jordan River has but they are built so well that I see EMT's head over to Jordan River more often that Throttle. I don't think it will go away if Jordan River (the state) takes it over they will run it. I have a hard time with the state taking over now after throttle 215 has put so much money into it to get it to where it is at. But on the same note maybe T215 planned poorly 5 yrs ago and possibly could have negotiated their contract different to not get put in this spot. I have been to T215 more often when it is good than JR by far and the jumps at T215 are well made. I have seen EMT's head over to JR far more often than 215 and 215 has triple the amount of jumps, and big.
IMO, leave 215 ran by Bangerters. We have already seen how JR runs a track.
I will still go to both places.

Jordan River had a good track builder (if I am remembering correctly) a few years back, but I don't know what happened to the guy. That track is good in the mornings about two days a week, and complete shit the rest of the time. My experience with T215 has been the same. The track looks like a supercross from how often people are in the air, but since it is well groomed its safe for those who know what they are doing. Jordan River can jump up and bite even really skilled riders just based on how poorly maintained and over watered it is. Well, just the corners and jump faces. A dusty slick concrete track with like 3 or 4 inches of standing water in the corners and rocks everywhere. That place was fun a few years ago, but man its tough to want to ride it now. That place eats a tire up quick also.

that aint no shit.

i was right behind a novice rider that was trying to jump the finish line stepdown a few years ago. the lip was so over-watered that dude was going backwards before he left the ground. very ugly crash.

i've also had some bad diggers there from poor track conditions. holes on faces of jumps, holes on landings, etc... i wouldn't ride that track if it were the last place to ride in Utah.

also, those of you in Utah need to check out the new OCA track. this is the best OCA since the late 90's.

Thanks guys for signing this, it's people like you guys that keep motocross going we appreciate every bit of this help and support were getting. OCA was awesome back in the ninties my dad and grandpa built it and from what I here the track was sick, I haven't been up there in a while but I heard Nick Wear(don't know how to spell the last name) and Jared Strong were reoding it and from what I heard this is supposed to be one of the best tracks in utah after it's done!, the dirt is always awesome at OCA, T215 has always been sick and every bit of heart goes into that track and for it to be taken away would be a waste, and every place we can have to ride helps the sport go, so thank you everyone!

i agree, losing Throttle215 would be pretty bad... especially since we are already short on tracks in Northern Utah. i haven't been out to OCA yet, but have heard nothing but good things. the track in the 90's and early 2000's was unreal. it has been pretty poor the last 10 years or so, hopefully the new change is good.

sorry for getting it off topic. hope the petition helps keep 215 around

Signed but that petition site immediately jumped to some democrat increasing the minimum wage petition. No good.
