Stewart's last seaon

Edited Date/Time 3/16/2013 9:54am
Just watching the interview with Stewart after his heat race win... when asked about his dad at the line Stewart says "Started with him, Finish with him" Sounds like a Freudian slip and a peek into the near future of Stewart's retirement.

Man......will some of you guys on here SHUT UP about OVER analyzing what Stewart said after his heat race victory. There's no need to make anything more out of what he said.

I think he more meant start the week with him helping me with starts, finish the week with him.

No I would say he is just reflecting on the whole "Villopoto: A champion" story and now probably appreciates more how much he gets on with James Snr and what an integral part of the operation he is.

I noticed that he said that too and was wondering what he meant by it. Only time will tell.

Real good time to start your own gear line eh? You know, when you're planning to retire in 12 months..

You guys read too much into what he says. All he is saying is he's loyal to his dad being there. He was from the beginning, and he'll be there till the end. When James retires, I'm sure he will let us all know without us having to read into it.

Stewart will be around as long as teams are prepared to pay him well for the coverage he brings. The legacy will be tarnished getting beat week in week out, but he won't care as long as the dollars roll in. Why would he?

Couple of pre seasons vids scrubbing at the ranch, a few races, a few crashes, couple of 'honest' interviews for the huggers and Bob's yer uncle. Another few mill. I wouldn't turn it down.

Isnt Stewart signed with Suzuki through 2015? His comments were referring to practicing starts......He had been working on them with a practice guy in Cali and then was on the gate with Lee come raceday....So this week, at home in Florida he practiced starts with pops and had pops on the gate with him... Lee was behind the fence since each rider can only have one person at the gate, which is usually the mechanic.... He did get a good start regardless...had a great jump on everyone and went a little to deep allowing RV to sneak in.....James is racing into his 30s....heck look a K-dub
