And uh the link worked for me and uh I like the kid, good luck to him.
That "and uh" stuff reminds me of Emig back in the day with his "yaknow".

If I was the dude filming his interview, I would have told him to relax and don't say "and uh" so much. I'm the kind of guy that if you have a booger on your face I will let you know about it.

just curious, whats so wrong about mono??

its a virus, almost everyone catches at one point in their life, it occurs extremely commonly to those in the 18-24 year old age range....and that is mostly because they have "life" experiences when they get out of the house....so stroupe would fit that.

Im not saying I thought he had it blah blah blah, just curious why it is looked down upon. I mean its 'super" commen

anyways, glad he is back, can't wait to see him charging hard!

I got mono when I was charging for the box very hard at the age of 17.

Camp,
the box in this instance means the podium. Not "that" box you were chasing. That will give you mono and a whole colony of critters to take home.

Not saying I enjoyed it! But hey, I enjoyed it before I got it.

It's not a STD like some of you make it sound, it's just a virus but it can be very bad. My son had it last year, actually as stated above I believe once you get it you have it forever. It's releted to the Epstien Bar virus of Travis Pastrami fame, if you have it and you run your body down where you are completly out of energy it is very hard to recoup from. When my son got it I started asking around and found out it's not really the "kissing disease" and is more common than I thought. One family friend said she had it as a teen and was pretty much down for the count for most of that summer. Yhay say that once you have it it's very easy to overtrain and deplete your body thus having a re-occurance.

[i] The best way to get rid of the critters ( if you know someone with them ) is Jack Daniels and sand, mix it together and poor it on , they all get drunk and through rocks at each other. Passed down through generations. But Stroupe is a good kid , we wish him well. motofab36 is correct , it is very common nothing new.

I think it is funny that he is "dispelling" the rumors about him as if people were ripping him or something. He comes off as a guy that wants to be looked at as hardcore.

Exactly.... while some kidding was above, and I did get it while at college, its extremely common.

I forget the stat, but I think 80 percent of americans have the virus, its just inactive.

But for a professional athlete, it can be devastating, as the harder you work through it, the worse it gets.

I thought all the riders had this covered with the new wave of PEDS?
