No doubt.

Obviously the business classes you took said it's always a great idea to get in to a slagging match with and insult your prospective audience & possible future customers on a public forum.

Interesting angle but not one of the more traditional forms of marketing that's for sure.

Or the longer I keep the topic going, the more they wonder and the more they go to the site to see what the drama is about. Bad press is good press. Ever heard of James Stewart? Everyone hates him, but yet hes the highest paid racer.

It doesn't matter, motocross fans are mostly whores and will go back 9 out of 10 times. I'm sorry but its the truth.

excuse me douche? "Ever heard of James Stewart? Everyone hates him" how about you do your research, bro, before you start insulting people. I am 1 of the hundreds of thousands of people that like him.

So... hypocrite much?

And no one is gonna go to your site to see what this drama is about bro. Stop kidding yourself.

Sometimes being a smart entrepreneur means using a little humility in situations such as these. Given the relatively large size of the Vital community (and the obvious relevance of their core motocross audience) it would be in your best interest to develop a positive relationship with their active and media-happy admin (ocscottie) as opposed to being cocky and not wanting to play by their rules in order to get FREE publicity for your site. Growing a small business with a shoestring budget like yours is all about building awareness and driving traffic to your site... and as of right now, you're ignoring that in favor of satisfying your own ego. Pump the breaks, eat a little crow, and maybe you might be able to salvage what could be an inexpensive partnership that could significantly improve the distribution of your content. Remember, motocross eyeballs represent an already small pie as it is, and the media gatekeepers represent a concentrated group--large and few--making it harder for someone like you to be competitive. Lastly, take a little bit of your own advice and research your audience before you post... had you understood the dynamics of this forum and developed a strategy to effectively target your audience prior to your post, you could have had a much more successful result. Live and learn, and good luck with your business.

I use to enjoy going to insidermx.com but now I never will again vitalmx gets 3 times the views your site does and it was probably the best publicity you could have gotten.

You are an absolute moron. I'm not even going to go back to the beginning to read what this stupid thread is about, but anybody that says what you just said about Stewart is a) clueless about the sport and b) very stupid overall.

To add to what mellonhs just said, it's more likely millions of fans who like Stewart, and I'm one of them also, and I will support them and their sponsors with my attention and my money. On the other hand, I will never pay attention to anything you post or do ever again. Way to go ace!

Well said.

Not much publicity now this is in the Dumbgeon.

Considering the site has nearly zero advertisers, if mom and dad ain't footing the bill on this project I'd be surprised. Don't burn too many bridges, kid.

Wow. You were doing pretty badly up to this point, but that comment is too much. You've got a lot to learn. I was curious about the video, but will now make a point of never visiting your site. But it goes much further than just the people in this thread. This type of attitude will hold you back for the rest of your life. Good luck.

I figured i would actually do him a favor and move it here. You can only shoot yourself in the foot so many times before the wound becomes lethal. As much of a doosh applecork is, he obviously loves the sport, and that i can respect about him...now as far as business sense goes, well he has none.

"if mom and dad ain't footing the bill on this project I'd be surprised"

That is hilarious. Whistling

Appleboy you must of been home schooled, you aren't very bright. Comments like what you have said could ruin your shitty little sight.

Example, Twitter I have x amount of followers some are in the industry and all my followers are motoheads. Now if I was to copy and paste these fucked up comments IMAGINE the exposure you could get. I own a business and would never tell potential customers they are whores or whatever "shaking my head" you might want a refund from that business school you attended cuz you been dooped.Blink

Explain to me what bridge and who I burned here? Please I would like to know that?

If you would do you research before posting like I asked everyone. You would have known by now that videos I produce get posted weekly on VitalMX and every moto site. Do you really think I got more hits by a link to my site or my video on the homepage? Come on, once you seen the video on the home page you would go on to the next. You go to vitalmx to see everything collected in one place.

I stated the truth. Motocrossers are mainly whores. I have seen it my whole life, a guy will say screw that brand of bikes or screw brand of gear. The min they offer it for free or to pay them they switch like crazy.

It's more disappointing that the world we live in today can't handle the truth.

And 4mxonly, thank you. You used your brain to answer back. Very rare around here.

Sorry but I dont need to do my research. Remember, we are all moto whores. You'll keep coming back here to fuel the fire until its full on DDavis melt down (which for some reason you remind me of him).
So do my research for me, because I am certainly not going to your site to find out, what videos have you produced that are "featured" on vitalmx and "every" moto site?
