Rattray obviously having some sort of issues (injury, personal, etc) that us common folk are not allowed to know about. Hope he gets it together and finishes SX strong so his confidence isn't destroyed going into the outdoors.

That's all I was thinking in that 250 LCQ. Wow Mitch Payton is going to rip him a new asshole. I don't know either guy but it seems that's the reputation Mitch has and alot more was expected of Tyla. At least he has the old wouldn't have been in the LCQ is not for a mechanical.

SX was never his strong point and after breaking his neck last year Im thinking he is much more worried about staying healthy for the outdoors.

If supercross isn't your strong point don't go to America. Supercross is king in America. Tyla went to the US too late to learn Supercross, if you are foreign rider going there you need to go when you are a teenager to learn it other wise you end up in no mans land like Tyla. To get a factory 450 ride you have to be a brilliant supercross rider in the US with a chance to podium there. Tyla isn't bad at Supercross but he isn't on the level he needs to get a 450 factory ride .

If your strong point is motocross stay in the World Championship - you get to race motocross all year, not just 12 days and the problems from supercross wont carry over to the outdoors be it confidence or injuries.

It is sad to see him struggle like this, his career has really taken a nose dive. I hope he can resurect it but I can't see him challenging for a title again in MX1 GPs or AMA, the other guys have went up another level and he isn't the rider he was in 2008. Really nice guy but he is in a big hole right now as far a getting a good 450 ride next season, he needs to get out of that 250 class. Maybe he should just concentrate on getting a head start on the 450 outdoors next season to save his career, he needs his confidence back and to have no more injuries until Hangtown in May.

I hope he can get back to his form of 2008/2005, but it will be tough from here.

Really?

Because last year, he was leading the points.

Soon, he wil have ride where he doesn't have front brake issues or caught up in a pile up and you will be wrong, AGAIN.

Dungey sure looked like he lost the edge too.... until last night.

idk seems more a case of trying to justify how a champion of series he holds in such high regard would be finding it tough in those american races Whistling Whistling Silly

^^^What Regis said

YES, I AM SURPRISED. Seriously, when have you seen someone do this bad on a PC bike? I can't think of anyone ever. Even the Darcy Lange's, Jimmy Gaddis, Ryan Morais, etc were putting in top 5 rides. Something is seriously up w/ Rattray. I'm not buying this "he's not good at SX" bullshit...
