When I heard his bike came out of Texas I was thinking it must be a Merge Racing bike. If so it is far from stock. Or maybe they left the motor stock as it is probably easier to ride on a SX track. I have a full built Merge Racing bike and it is absolutely ridiculously fast. Lightened crank, head work, polished trans, his program on a Vortex ignition. I have no idea what I was thinking I definitely don't need it.

Yes it is the Albertson's Honda which he bought with his own money to keep doing what he loves so much.
Really pumped to see Andrew Short do the same. Shorty is one of my favorites, and a great image for the sport, along with being a consistent top guy year after year. Go Andrew!

BTW: Got a chance to meet GuyB. Went up and say hi just to keep myself in check when I'm temped to go nuts on vital. Now he knows what I look like and stuff which sort of forces me to keep my posts somewhat legit. Smile

Just listening to Ralph go on and on how Short's bike was fresh off the showroom (legit or not) on CBS should be enough for American Honda to scratch Short a check and hook him up with bikes for the rest of the season. I mean you couldn't ask for better PR.
