That is a good race but if you read my opening I state that I was only counting 250/450F Main events. No support class victories.

The Jammer Jimmy Weinert coming from behind to beat Bob Hannah at Daytona in 1979 is right up there at the top of my list of SX upsets as well. Bob Hannah was the '79 SX champ so Jimmy beat the best at Daytona, he was past his prime, aging, and came from behind.

And no mention of RL's first ever SX win as a three digit number holder at 16-17 years old , waxing Barnett, Glover ,O' Mara, Bailey,Johnson, and many other big names by over 10 seconds at the Orlando SX in '83 ?

If Millsaps pulls off another win or two this year, or better yet, takes home the title, I'm guessing this might become a top ten list.
