Need proof? Check it out HERE

Its not your average "moto" video, but it shows us how hard he works OFF the track. I hope a certain "someone" watches that vid Whistling

Eli takes us inside the Ryno Power Gym to show it takes a lot more than just hard work on the track. Ryan Hughes puts Eli through a workout that keeps him on top of his game. View more workouts, riding tips and advice at http://www.rynopowergym.com

Petaluma, I have family up your way. Do you remember the races out by the airport in Redding in 82ish ? A local super market put up some killer coin for purse $. Good times.

Deano dont stand a chance...

nvm I thought you were talking about the Virgin Airlines comment... but I think you're right Scotty, Roczen needs to learn from his competition.

I have only been up here since around 97-98'ish. Born and raised in the Bay Area (San Jose/Los Gatos area, went to Saratoga HS)

Thats impressive... I 'd be depressed if I was one of Eli's competitors. Theres no slacking from that guy.

Sidenote, Is that a different gym then the other Ryno workout vids? Looks like he got a comercial building for his gym instead of the "attached to the house gym" his other vids have.

I have been involved in fitness for over a decade and can safely say Ryno knows and understands the craft. He has mastered fitness and foods and I believe he will mix stillness (yoga) into his training soon. His riders will not only have endurance and strength, but also unmatched focus while racing. I follow both on twitter and have become a big fan of Ryno's riders and Ryno's purpose. Keep on rockin it Ryno!!!

** Notice all of his work outs involved legs and core (ALL of them).

Actually you were right the first time, Deano doesn't stand a chance. Can't say enough how much I think of Tomac's future. There are no sure things in this sport but what's going to hold Eli back? As much as I wanted to see him on a 450 this year, watching his masterful display on the 250 last weekend was awesome.

Eli may get beat. But it won't be because he gets tired. I think the Elsinore race last year and the Freestone race the year before has cemented the idea in his head that he will outlast anyone this year.

I've been Praising ET for quite a while now....and my opinion still stands strong. And that is when this kid moves up to the 450's......he's going to embarrass a lot of people for a lot of years. I mean other racers anyways.

You know what? now that i think about it, i recall RynoPower after A1 tweeting something like "Congrats to RynoPower athletes Tomac and Rozcen for their podium finishes at the opening around...etc etc"

So maybe Kenny is working with him also?? Ill have to check on that.

Anyone know anything about that? I had a beer, yes, ONE beer, that is all that i allow myself, and feeling pretty good at the moment Laughing (such a friggen lightweight in my old age)

Those dumbbell presses on the aerobic/medicine ball were cringe-worthy. Form wasn't technically very tight, either for an athlete of that caliber. If I were paying high dollar for a S&C program and received that, I'd reconsider my options.

Cool nonetheless. ET is a hard worker, and it definitely shows.

OC....I believe Roczen is just using his supplements not training with him.

I saw a photo some where with Roczen and some RynoPower supplements and him thanking Ryno for the products.

AND....ET is one of my favorite riders. He is in great shape and I think he will be able to make that transition to the big bikes just fine with the training he is doing.

All the crossfit haters, Ryno is doing a mix of crossfit and other HIIT routines with his riders. It works perfectly for MX if done right.

Proof is right there in that video.

Sick as the kid is i couldn't disagree more - we will see gents but IMO the outdoors title is between riders other than Tomac. There is a long way to go indoors too so try not to start celebrating just yet.

Tomac has genes on his side too. It will be interesting to see if he can take his 250F intensity and apply it to a 450. It might be the next evolution of the sport.

No offense but look at your country of origin, I think in general people are somewhat biased based on what side of the pond they are on. Based on results alone, specifically at the end of the year, Tomac will do VERY well indoors and out.

btw chris, I agree, I think he has the potential to knock off Dungey, RV, Stewart, etc. more than Barcia or anyone else in the 250 class now. MIght be interesting to see Tomac and Cianciarulo in a couple of years.

While I feel the same way, I'm curious as to ryno's reasoning behind them.

I believe Ryno's methodology is that racing a dirtbike isn't structured. If you build muscle in perfect form, you won't use that muscle that same way when a 450 is kicking out on you. He knows structure is good, but he looks to build all those additional reflex muscles that are needed when saving the bike unexpectedly.

Hernia comes to mind when lifting without form.

what do you mean look at my country of origin? with a statement like that you know you are causing offence so please don't prelude it with "no offence". USA are about as biased as it gets bud and we all know that so let's just park it there - we both/we all have agendas, Roczen isn't exactly English, nor is Wilson - both in my opinion will hand it to Eli in the outdoors regardless of how fit he is, hey I am not arguing that Eli is not a beast or extremely fast, he sure as hell is both those things i mean look at his times last week but I stand firm and say it is NOT TIME to start celebrating just yet.
