That's what I was thinking, friggin struggling along at 1 mile an hour, scraping and scratching throught the brush.....drop off on either side.....no thanks.
Here's another one of the same trail. This is really a fun trail with only this one section where you can really get in trouble plus the rest of the trail is a lot faster than this.
that looks right up my alley..except for the falling off the cliff part..

Dude that fell was on a 2smoker? No? there is challenging,
and the there is stupidity, and you have to have a little of the
second to ride spline like that.!! def not a stop and go afair
there tho.
It would help if they knew how to ride. You have to keep your momentum over rocks like that, not stop in between them. He deserved to fall the way he was dicking around!

Exactly momentum is your friend and line selections not a bad skill set to have either. LMAO @ his buddy "damn it I told you"
"I knew he was going to do it".

Riding a 450 has nothing to do with it, it's all about a rider's skill. The dude that fell was way out of his league being on that trail. The camera guy isn't too impressive either.
No disrespect to Curt but that is definitely sped up. You gotta love the Johnson Valley though. It is just gnarly there. Remember that this a a hare and hound. You should see some of the enduro section in that place.

Well you did disrespect Kurt, because that was not sped up. You obviously have never done a desert race.
On the bomb run, it may look like it is sped up but that has more to due with the wide angle of the camera and wind hitting the helmet and visor at 80+ MPH.
To be good at Desert racing, you must have good eyesight and be able to read the terrain. Danny Hamel was the best at that going those speeds. Kurt obviously is excellent at it as well!
Is that at Windrock? I might just have to go check that out.
Yea and no, it's on the north side of CC you would need some body to show you around theres about 100 miles of unmarked trails and non of it is on any map.

Exactly. Fuck that! I'd rather try to ride a supercross track.

I should not have said definetly sped up but as I have done plenty of desert races in A class I think I can speak here. I am not claiming to be at Kurts level but I am no slouch. It wasn't the bomb run that looks funny and makes me think it is sped up. It was the tight sections where there is instant acceleration in the sand that I know from having raced there has little traction. Maybe you are right and the camera is a POs but it looks off to me.
