This may of already been addressed, but Suzuki admitted they gambled on only signing one rider... Lets just say he is out with the knee injury, do they fold up for the year and save the money, or who could possibly fill in?? I don't see them getting a replacement that would actually be worth them spending the money to go racing.
Bubba will be fine. He got 8th place and rode at like 30%.

Too bad there isn't a guy riding yellow that grabbed everyones attention at A-1 to put some support money behind.
Yep if they could find such a guy he would surely be a Rockstar.......
In my opinion Kawasaki is in a worse position in the 450 class. With the demise of the JWR team and Pro Circuit focusing back on the 250 class completely for Supercross there were only 3-4 Kawasaki’s that I noticed in the field. I think only three made the main event. Two of them were from the factory team. God help them if they get some injuries.
Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and KTM are all in a far better position than Kawasaki because they have several organized teams running their bikes AND in the brands easily recognized primary colors.
If James is out for a prolonged amount of time, that truck will be parked after the west coast swing, one would think, that is.
Could IT9 ride for them? Bring up one of the Rockstar 250 guys? Move an RCH guy?
i think they'll be just fine.
what killed me is when Ralph called Davi a privateer. it has been stated that team is a factory suzuki backed team.
Not disputing you because I don't know, just pointing out that's what everyone has been questiong... is this still a "factory" team?
i just recall reading the Rockstar team was a factory backed outfit.
Only Suzuki logo I see is on the clutch cover. Not on his gear or the bike anywhere. Noticed that Makita is still in the game though.
Pit Row
If they win, everybody knows it is the rider, not the bike. (How many fans thought that Honda was buying championships when they got Ricky?)
If they do bad, everybody rag on the bike (Yamaha isn't looking too good lately)
The current exception is KTM: Dungey won an outdoor when most people were betting he was screwing up his career by going orange.
Still hardly any logos. And less in the recent photos.
Support? Probable. Factory bike/parts? Who knows.
Davi still killed it.
Monday's Yamaha Wake-Up Call
Kinda ironic Yamaha sponsors a piece called, "....Wake-Up Call", and their machines are almost non-existent in the results, even less so than Suzuki. Maybe it's a wake-up call for Yamaha? I think another poster here already made the comment about the reverse engine thing....
thanks for the heads up
