A1 'upset' candidates?

Who do you think could sneak past the big 4 (Villo, Stew, Reed, Dungey) and sneak a win? Several seasons ago, wasn't it Grant who did it? I doubt many expected that.

I'd give it to Canard. Him being off the bike for so long and racing so little between injuries puts him in my 'underdog' category. If he'd stay healthy, he sure as heck wouldn't be in that category. If it rained, of course Windham would be a bigger consideration. Too early to jump on the Barcia bandwagon, for me.

Barcia, Barcia, Barcia. He'll get the holeshot and RV won't be able to run him down. Barcia's starts are going to get him more wins then anybody who isn't named Ryan Villopoto or Ryan Dungey this year. Possibly more than Dungey. I think he has a legit shot at the title.

I think Barcia can definitely pull off a win tomorrow and it won't be a fluke, but it would be great to see Canard win at A1.
I'm rooting for my favorites Reed or Dungey to win though, but Barcia and Canard will be threats all year IMO.

Well I plan on showing up last second on my 2006 yz250 and I wont settle for anything less than 1st place. So I will definitely take the win but I wont consider it an upset since I am ronnie mac fast.

Alessi? Unfortunately, I think that ship already sailed. Only way I see him winning it is if Stew and Reed tangle and take out the top 6. No offense against Mike. I just don't believe he has the speed, confidence, or support to win indoors or out anymore. I'd be totally cool with it if he proved me wrong.

He held of Dungey for good while several times even to the point of making him crash, he's had a heck of a lot more racetime lately than anyone but Dungey, You could say the same about a lot of the so called too 6, what has Stewart, Canard and Reed won lately? Mike is the #1 hole shot king period and if he gets out front he will be away for the carnage. He got well earned 2nd in the Nationals, I know those other riders are badass, but they couldn't make a whole season and he did.
