Can josh mix it up with the top guys?
After i see some video's and photos of him,he really looking good and also got his best pro years under the JGR Truck.
What do you guys think? Can he battle for the podium and mayby win a few? I think he will..

That being said, if I had to bet money, no he will not podium, ever again in SX.

If JG from 09 shows healthy and confident I say top 5 is very manageable.
I'm a grant fan so hoping he shows up strong at A1 and carries it through a whole season!
He's amazing to watch ride a bike.
Looking at the "fast 5" from 2011, rarely did the fast 5 not finish 1-5. This year, we have the fast 6. Only crashes, mechanicals or injuries will allow anyone of the "1a" group to crack the top 5, yet alone podium or win.
The 1a list is long and Josh certainly has a chance to be near the top of that group. I wish him luck. Besides Windham, probably my favorite "1a" guy... Maybe because Mrs Grant used to be my favorite Monster girl. (is that a good reason?)
Why are ppl writing him off? Remember the Anaheim win with the friggin banner in the wheel???!!!
you dopes.....
I'd say he can do well again this year, if he can stay heathy.
Hell, he got a Supercross podium and did the same outdoors in 2012 and that was considered a recovery year for him. He is also a past Supercross winner and has won a 450 national moto when Dungey was untouchable. Obviously he has the speed.
I wish him good luck.
against an incredibly thin field. It's stacked this year,
he'll be in the top ten but a podium is pushing it.
Pit Row
Now if he struggles at the beginning I can see him struggling the entire year.
Well maybe, just maybe... the confidence of him knowing that he has already won a SX main event will propel him to the box. Maybe the fact the dude is married and has a son has calmed him down and made him more concentrated on the task at hand. Racing for a W. And a title. And we know he doesn't take crap from RD5, RV2, JS7, or CR; so the fact that he has the same backing with three added years of research and development will make him even more confident in his abilities.

Grants whole career bottomed out after he slammed 800 for no reason. Not sure if its karma or coinsedence. I still hope he does okay, the more the merrier.
They have history and it's not like 800 hasn't wrecked plenty of people besides Grant. Youtube is full of videos proving it.
