JLaw would of done a lot better in this sport if he would of been born about ten years earlier.

Oh and no, I have no issues. None that would make dads want to kill me, or none that would make factory riders give me a black eye, or track owners throwing me through windows, or spectaters kicking my ass, so no, I guess I have no issues.

Yes you are correct. He is not normal, because a "normal" person does not win a SX championship. Only a talented person does...

Hey Peel did you know Jason?

I did around 2006-2008.

You know that dickhead friend you probably have? Well that's how Jason is. He's a cool dude, and you laugh at the shit he says, but in the end it was a lot of the "I'm young and famous" attitude directed towards his peers. He was definitely to cool for school...

On on hand he was pretty nice to younger kids and adults. (non threatening to his ego).

His ego led to his demise, and polarity with moto fans..

Anyways that's the truth for you, you know, if anyone likes the truth around here...

Never pretended to know him, just tired of the slander. I saw the talent and the charity that he portrayed. I saw it from what media showed me.

Thank you for the first hand account.

Even if he is a dick. I´d still like to see that dick come out and podium a supercross, then flip everyone off on the podium and leave with monstergirls in both arms. Laughing

I though it he was hilarious when he was fucking with Dungey for that title (like jumping the fence into the suzuki test track and doin a burn out reading 1W or whatever the coast was) but then his schtick seemed to get a bit mean spirited probably due to getting away with more and more... when someone is spoilt people tend to forget to shift some blame to the spoiler.. some blame not all the blame
I always thought he just needed to get his arse kicked but apparently that happened quite often and didn't make a difference haha

but I'd be pretty stoked to see him come back! dude always cracks me up
this photo of him (or not of him) makes me laugh

I would agree with this. When he was 16-17 he was funny with his stupid shit then it just progressed, and he started doing mean stuff. I really think a lot of blame for his demise was his manager, Jay was his golden goose and he let him and even sometimes encouraged him.

I can Honestly tell you i feel bad for him in a lot of ways.

Not being smart now or anything ... but where is J Law in that photo? Is that him on the Suzuki out front? I can't remember whether he rode Suzuki or not.

I think a lot of people forget just how fast he was. Plus he would party all night then go race and kill it. Sure it wasnt a great recipe for success but i guarantee he was having more fun than anyone else out there, thats what this sport is about isnt it? fun?

I loved watching him ride, kid was hell on wheels with talent to spare. I think most of the intrigue around him is the fact that he just disappears. He was training for sx last season and then disappeared from what i heard from a solid source. Its a mystery what goes on there. I just wish he'd come back for one race and show everyone the talent he still has.

Everyone going on about Jlaw doing this and that, like we are all angels! I was a prick when I was young did some crazy shit and was down right nasty to some girls, like really nasty dirty... Today I reflect on somethings and wish I hadn't done certain things but as my Fiance says "I wouldn't want you to change a thing as it made you the person you are today" My first baby due in 2 weeks, I work hard have a house, cars and spend every moment with my family.. Leave the poor fuck alone! Maturity didn't come to me until about 28...

Also on a note of training etc, pretty sure he was training with Ryno, so the not train and give a fuck you would think not possible with Ryno...

He partied, so what - I haev seen videos of JT, Burner, Reed (Private ones) they partied and had fun.. Who gives a fuck!

The dude could shift it and twist it FULL STOP, he owes no one here anything.

If you were born in his shoes, you would be him... Think about that.

On a plus side, if he ever did want to comeback, at least he has his health. Unlike some guys trying to regain their 09 form.. Hill, tedesco, townley spring to mind.

I've heard a story where he jumped or cut the fence into the Suzuki test track rode a few laps then did a 1W or E on the concrete pad haha

like I said I love all the light hearted 'cheeky' stuff.. the bunny ears in that photo of Dungey doesn't sound like much but when you factor in the whole situation he was fully takin the piss (taking the mickey, havin a go at him, paying him out) haha

i have no opinion on Jason Lawrence..i do think its pretty cool you guys still give a fuck about him when he clearly doesnt care about the MX industry at all..

Let's put it this way.....you all say he is a fuck up and a failure..he's still accomplished more than 99% of the people who are registered on vitalMX

I'm a little surprised by the number of people who seem to live their lives through people they have never met. It isn't like he's the first person to be outrageously talented at something, but be missing a piece of the puzzle. I guess I never understood all the mystic.

Sorry I didn't realize the grammar police were in town. I'll try harder next time I'm talking to a large group of strangers.
