What a bunch of smartasses in this thread. I guess this is the state of motocross's fanbase. Such a shame.

Hey, they have to have somewhere to rest and take a breath on the track.

Back in the day it used to be the hard part. Now it's the rest spot.

Sometimes. That triple last year where stewart passed Reed and ?? at the same time right after... That scrubbage took strength from that extra tendon in his leg real human beings don't have. Grinning Tongue

pfft....the rest spot for these four strokes is every corner. Most riders just about come to a complete stop at the top of the corner as they foop their way through it.

Yeah, it's real pedestrian out there. That's why photographers got so accustomed to sauntering across the track. Wink

I've also noticed a lot less triples for '13. About half the tracks only have 1 triple (not the usual 2) and they seem to have been replaced by more rhythm sections.

It is. I remember the under-over bridge and the dragonsback where Ricky decided to loop a 56 horsepower CR250 at 50 mph and just get up like a savage. Only savages are pissed to have that happen to them and come back to lose by only half a second.

Tougher obstacle?

Certainly more potential for some riders to be faster than others.

Technically, it's just backwards, not broken.
