Well, he is disgusted cause he thinks Mitch owes him something for his 2 titles and cause in his head, he still believes he's the shit. But Mitch is a businessman, does he really want to support a rider that doesn't fight for a podium until the end of the championship? (CP didn't want to compete the last GP in Germany in 2012. The team had to force him to go. There, he just cruised arround and didn't fight for his third place and Paulin got third overall)
Is this fact or supposition ? The bit where he thinks Payton owes him ?

You sound overly angry toward the guy I have to say.

I can't say whether he thinks Mitch owes him anything or not, but I wouldn't be surprised is he was a bit butthurt that Mitch came up with a 450 for Tickle last year but couldn't build one for him the year before.

1) CP does own a nice place in Florida, with a beautiful private SX track...

2) too bad he did not go there / care to use it to prepare for Bercy (as originally planned by both of us)... he may have looked better for his first SX in two years (he probably thought he was up to the challenge anyway ? fact is, he choosed to pocket his traveling $$$ rather than use it to buy tickets to Florida)...

3) TMV does not like him, indeed, but what TMV says is the bare truth;

4) Most here believe CP is done -for good- and that is one (of the only) thing(s) that can't be held against him;

5) In 30 years of Bercy, never had to deal with such a weird / non-trustable dude.

I'm with you two, I respect the hell out of him. Every time I talked to him it was a good experience.

If he cares about what any of these dumbasses on here think of him well then he's as dumb as they think he is.

And C-Pour ain't dumb.

He is advertising about running some MX school on his tracks that's why he's showing the pictures of the track. He's also selling a lot of gear via auctions.

I think his only hope is that a factory ride opens up for outdoors. If not I'm afraid that will be the end of CP.
schools on full blown sx tracks? wish i had the chance to do that!

Perhaps this is why he is struggling to find ANOTHER ride in the US. Small sport and it seems like word gets around the campfire pretty quick. The sand in his hourglass is quickly running out. Too bad but he has been the author of his own demise.

His Charity Days were (a minute part) for charity, but not his auctions. A lot of people think they are but they're not! Dude is selling everything and is even selling his old PC gears, the ones from his titles (said he was degusted by Pro Circuit). He's making a good 700 dollars a day just selling his stuffs (smart move for once). He's got quite a large fan base here ready to buy anything with his autograph on it. Even sold a handlebar pad cover for 150 dollars, not that bad.

The dude won't be at A1, he'll go back to florida mid December and won't probably touch a bike until this (and on which bike?)

Concerning his school stuff, there is nothing on the way for now. He just posted a pic of his florida track saying "Training course anyone?" for fun and his fans answered they would pay for it. So maybe in the future..

You only have to place your bid in the comments, say "sur" (sure) everytime you write an amount to show you're serious. You can pay with Paypal or via credit card. Yes, it doesn't sound very professionnal but that so it is...
The real question being: would you give your credit card number to Chris Pourcel?

Have you ever questioned a charity before donating to it. Many charities out there advertise that they are giving all the money to a good cause. The fact of the matter is that most charities are only put together to line someones pockets. The non-profit status is a great way to generate tax free money. At best I would say 25% of what you give, goes toward the cause. You should ask about the breakdown before you give money away. I always do!

Oh my. Sad to hear your effort was in wane, but I totally get why you made an attempt.

His ride at Bercy put a fork in the CP-saga on so many levels. The guy will be missed, but it's time for some of us fans to move on. I hope he ends up where he feels happy, because racing obviously didn't make him tic.

Just another friend/associate of CP that he's burned. There's a lot of them out there, one day he's going to wake up and be all by himself with nothing- sad really.

And there are plenty of industry people that know him well that have also said they are dubious whether his "charity" auctions are going anywhere but in his pocket.

This is some sad shit.

Sounds like CP is wandering around in "La-La land"......which is a complete shame , because we probably won't see him at A1.....or any other big race again....ever.

I personally hope he finds "something".......something that will get him on the line at A1. But after reading about all the things he has put others through.....I don't see anyone trying to help.

Disgusted used and abused ex business partners? Tons of them, including french guys you probably never heard of...

As for the auctions, a few weeks ago, CP replied to a Facebook question something like "You retard, I've said a thousand times I help sick children and people in need". Guess CP's very needy, these days...

Pretty crazy how kooked CP has become in the last 2 years. I've always been a big fan, but his downward spiral has been bonkers - and sad. I wonder how much impact that defeat against Canard had deep down. He hasn't been the same rider since his his PC days.

I don't think it's an issue CP being a dick or not, talent can overcome anything in this world, the issue I claim is that he kept clinching on while not really being serious about returning. I see him talent wise as a top five guy for some years to come, the issue wasn't people believing that, or they have given up on that though, the issue was him not giving a fuck, and declined realistic offers, and only wanted back if served gold, almost like he deep down didn't want to return at all, and asked for more than was offered just to feel, "it's not worth it".

A person wanting something, and not getting is forced to alter his options when previous demands is not met, him skipping multiple season indicates something was up.

If he really wanted back, people would give him another try I'm sure. I call BS that his persona was an issue then or in the future if he really became committed.

It would be great to do a school with Pourcel but I'd probably not get any sleep at night wandering if he'll turn up or if he'll talk.
Unfortunately Pourcel is done! He's fucked around too many people in this industry.

Pay up front, done deal. The guy is burning bridges, to much buzz about him doing so, indicates there's some truth to that repeated claim. But with talent like his, one can build new bridges if necessary I'm sure.

In the end, I think we all know it was his decision to quit, not because he gave Genova the finger.

You mean the good-hearted industry we watch in Inside the Outdoors? Finally a person that can stand up for themselves and leave when the demands (they should get in my opinion) is not met. I understand Pourcel not wanting to ride for next to nothing or on equipment not comfortable on. And if his heart isn't in mx anymore, so be it. It was a pleasure watching him ride.

I'm very curious about the purpose of all the negativity from you and some other french members on the forum? Have you ever met Pourcel in real life? I haven't and I don't know shit about him and couldn't care less. I'm a fan solely based on his riding style.
