Well from reading I assume this is an Irish/Northern Irish based team, so why don't they hire some local talent? The top guys there are capable of running British championship speed.

Yea he is very very fast in Britain for sure but racing a full GP series is different - look at the list of riders for 2012 in the good teams and tell me what one you would replace with Brad?

Who is going to give a 31 year old rider a ride and expect him to be top ten in the series against these guys?

Frossard
Cairoli
Nagl
Searle
Bobby
Desalle
Strijbos
Paulin
Van Horebeek
Roelants
De Dycker
Leok
Phillipearts
Simpson
Boog
Goncalves
Barragan
Guaneri

All those guys have won or podiumed at GP level ...that is eighteen guys already and they are all younger than Brad...

It is unfortunate for him but being at the front of two British series for a good team is going to be better for him than running around in 15th at the GPs woth maybe the odd top ten when you are 31.... he will be doing a few GPs though I believe in addition to his British Championship commitments which is pretty good.
Yeah! I guess you are right. Truth hurts sometimes.......But i give you hell if Brad beats anyone of those 18 at anytime next season! Beware of the old Big grumpy man.Wink The only Irish capable doing result next five years isn't that Herlings best buddy?Whistling

Not sure who you mean but Martin Barr is probably as fast as Anderson most of the time.

good and informative post mcread - wow when you look :@ that lineup, it's gonna be a barnstormer isn 't it....

aside from the obvious Bobby, Desalle, Nagl, AC etc etc the "surprise" package for me in that lot is Van Horebeek - he will bring it on more than one occasion

stoked to see Strijbos back on factory Suzuki as well

Yes, that is an impressive list of talent.

But with only 20 MX1 entries available for the first two GPs next season, and no doubt a few of those spaces reserved for local riders, it would be really unfair if any of those 18 GP stars were refused an entry for Qatar & Thailand and hence started the season off 4 motos behind in points.

We've gone from half-empty gates to over-subscribed gates overnight - a problem that qualification would fix instantly.

Martin is still looking for a ride!! Can't believe that after his performance at the nations (including passing baggett ) he is still trying to find a team. I wonder is there any U.S. team still looking for a ride? BTO?

Exactly what I suggested he try and do.

There are a number of European riders like Barr who I think would fair quite well in the Outdoor Nationals - presuming they can organise a reasonably competitive bike.
