Explain to me how the 250 and 450 classes are not the foundation of this sport at the pro level that have to be taken care of first before anything else on race day. Explain to me whether Target is sponsoring Dungey because 20,000 (or 50,000) people see him at a track rather than because 100 times that number may see him on TV.
Do you grasp the connection between TV coverage and teams being able to solicit sponsors? Do you grasp that there is no pro racing without sponsors? What direction does the sport go at a professional level if those interests are flubbed?
Women's professional soccer, a far larger sport with much larger girls participation at the youth level, and a high level of competitive parity, has failed multiple times in the country. The same with women's basketball. It doesn't mean that they are not fantastic athletes; it means there are not enough people interested to justify the opportunity cost with even the best promotion. The WMX women are terrific athletes for the most part, but they are in an even worse position because, unfortunately, there's two or, at best, three riders who actually compete, and the disparity of skill is painfully exposed when they are stood against the pros at a national.
If you have issue with how the nationals spread the money around and that the tracks are shorted in that, you'd be better off taking that up directly instead on trying to use any issue to broadside Davey with every issue someone complains to him about regardless of whether it has any rational relationship to what has put a bug up your butt. Or at least explain how WMX is directly related to tracks not making money.
Is your TV beef that attendance is down at nationals because local fans are staying home to watch instead? Or that they are (or will be) staying home because WMX won't be at the nationals? Got any facts for that?
Mr. Info, you are holding on too tight. Time to realize Glen Helen doesn't rule the motocross world and no one really gives a damn if you work there or not.
What the hell is wrong with you people?
What the hell are you doing?
Aren't you the guy from GH?
Why aren't you and the doc that owns that place starting a series?
Why does everyone feel they have all the answers, and do nothing but give advice?
Shit, get off the pot, or shut the fuck up.
freakin jerks.
(had to beat mr. info to it so I could earn my beanie hat)

What is Glen Hlen doing to further WMX? Or women's racing in general?
No, I am not DC.
Maybe they could get with DC and do a one off race to make the WMX 4 rounds if they're so inclined to make WMX grow.
Pit Row
Actually, I'm kidding.
DC
MX Sports
And I'm watching you Mr.info!
That said, this argument isn't going anywhere, but it's giving me some comic relief from homework on a Wednesday night. So thank you all involved parties.
I may be wrong, i have been before and i hope the wmx can grow because nobody loves the sport more than me but the 3 round series doesnt sound completely terrible.
Listen, the post that you created above might be the most ill conceived, off the mark, load of complete bullshit that has ever been posted at Vital. Can you grasp that? I mean, Danny Dolan posts here!
FTE is probably in the top three in terms of respect, knowledge and impartiality at this place. We all get it... you hate DC and anything that comes from MX Sports because they took away your sugar daddy's race. Fucking Wahhh.
Now move along. You are laughed at here. You're nothing but a tool. Not like the useful kind... say, some vice grips or a 10mm socket. You're the other kind of tool. You know... a "penis", a "dick". That kind of tool.
