I didn't get any "hate" from what DeCoster said about Izzi...but I did get an unapologetic admission that the team was pissed and frustrated at having a kid being paid so highly & given so much simply flip them and their program off and do whatever he wanted...

But, I think you're right as was what Ian said in the interview, that Roger is from the old school of professional racing and doesn't put up with any of the prima donna bullcrap that Izzi was involved in. That's the reason he gets along so well with Dungey and some others...those that take their jobs 100% seriously and are willing to do what it takes to be a winner.

The episode certainly paints a picture of Izzi turning things around, bringing his parents back into the picture, trying to set a good example for his daughter and all that. But what about the Weimer drama (wasn't that just last year)? What about his run-ins with Tickle? I don't know the whole story in either of those cases, but I do know that where there is smoke there is usually fire. So I'm going to hold off putting Izzi on a pedestal. I do hope Dominic continues moving down the "righteous path" and I wish him the best in the future.

Kind agree with you. Although some members were a bit over the top on here. It was down to Nico that he had no one around him in his time of need. I'm not saying his crash and losing his factory support was a blessing in disguise but it seems to have helped rebuild his life.




Also interesting that Dungey came in to the Suzuki next to nothing compared to Izzi.
