Feld would hopefully reconsider Holly and Weigandt's live internet broadcasts, which to this day were the most enjoyable way to experience the races. Something about not being able to see the action, and hearing it called like sports of old, was priceless. Their move to end that was a mistake, I believe.
There's not a lot of time before Anaheim, so ... might be good if we get a petition of sorts going (which is easy to do these days with several well known causes sites out there) and at least try to influence Feld to get that show back on the air. It needs to be Weege and Holly though.

I'm so excited for another season of following live SX on Twitter.
Yep, on its way out. No doubt.
WTF?

So take the relationship that Feld has built with CBS and the fact that there's a new CBS Sports network now, I would think that would be a new home for SX. There's plenty of need for content for all these channels and SX fills that need. The ratings are good (according to Feld, record breaking even) so why wouldn't it just move to CBS Sports or maybe even stay with Fox Sports?
As for commentators, I am gonna go ahead and say Weege does a fine job of announcing. I think he offers good insight from the inside, and paired with someone like RC or Fro (former-champ caliber rider), they do an excellent job of covering all sides of the sport during a broadcast (barring Fro's incessant use of the word "momentum").
