It might not have fitted their heads right or may have just been chance.
If you have the $ buy a shoei or an arai I reckon.

We love them, no concussions here yet. LOL

Highly recommended.

Awesome, thanks for that. I thought they ran on the small side but couldn't remember for sure.

It's actually a pretty easy answer. Yes they fit on the small side, there pretty standard or try fit a little bigger than the helmets you were comparing them too.
I can't account for your ears. Smile

Moto 9s are cool, but you can get a new Moto 8 for $299 vs. Moto 9 for $475. Just sayin'
Just saying, most places are selling moto 9 older models for low $200s.....

best deals going....Lighter than all the others mentioned, better ventilation than all the others mentioned, SNELL M2010 and DOT certified, have better eyeports for googles and are priced better.

Here's mine from last week. I've owned many lids and this Bell feels just as good as any Shoei or Arai i've ever owned. I got it on sale for just over $200. BTW I've gotten a concussion wearing a Shoei, no lid is concussion proof. I'm an XL and the Bell XL fits perfect. This lid is highly recommended.

Anyone know the weight of the moto 9? I had the chance to try a airoh aviator and I have to say the weight alone, 950 grams if I remember right, made it the most comfortable helmet ive ever worn but at over $600 to get from the uk I am considering other options. Btw I own a vfx-w at the moment and imo it is too heavy.

not even close. Airoh is a lot lighter

There is no comparison between a Bell or a shoei. At all the helmet seminars i go to (my dad works for HJC). they flat out tell us if your are serious, You buy an arai or a shoei or just don't ride. The Bell rep gave me one and I rode a half of a lap and gave it back. JUNK. Sorry for the repost
