Easy now. One moto is a small victory for Dungey. It was a matter of time before RV lost one. Pretty amazing that a moto victory generates a response like he got, but these guys have to take what they can get when they are getting beat week in, week out. Here's hoping it builds his confidence and leads to more good competitive races like this one. These 2 will be going at it for years to come and thats a good thing. Good ride RD.

Not just a moto, a moto and an overall. I know, no big deal right? It's Dungey's first (hard to believe I know!) so it is a big deal. It might not be a big deal to Mini Red, other than piss him off he lost; but you better bet it's a big deal for Dungey. He's worked hard for this one and deserves some pats on the back atleast.

With Southwick and Millville both left on the schedule, you may see another moto or two go Dungey's way.

Most people seem to thing that RV is the fastest rider in the world considering his MXDN performance last year so it really is a big deal for who ever can beat him. RV is truly a great rider on any track anytime, maybe the best ever. We all have to wait to see how it all plays out.. but no matter what it was a good ride by RD.

It will take more than 1 win for every twenty races against RV to get a title or two out of it. Again, good ride, hope to see more of it, but this is just a small nick in RV's armor. It's like a dominant fighter getting a bloddy lip, that small shot is enough to wake up the beast and make that person even more mad.

(Disclaimer)-Twenty races was a quick quess, not factual, and intended for conversation purposes only. Number was based on a 9 race supercross lites season along with a handfull of outdoor motos.

That's awesome that he won. Great ride! Woohoo

Yeah, it may "only" be one win, and there are still 100+ points, but so what, it's his first national win and an accomplishment no less. Everybody expected RV to win out the rest of the races, and Dungey just broke that streak. Now maybe there's some hope for the MX1 class. And maybe some championships will be decided when I'm at Millville in a few weeks.

Villopoto's gonna be bumping around with Millsaps and Short in SX with some Ferry thrown in next to Hill. Maybe some Tedesco too.

He won't see Reed from back there and Reed won't be able to tell him any of Stewarts fast lines.

The track seemed really one lined. RV came from about 9 seconds back in third and couldn't make anything stick. The faster rider didn't win today, however, Dungey was on it and didn't crack under all that pressure.

i love both of these guys. I got both of their autographs saturday at the mototees trailer. I was actually rooting for Villo to win just because he has had such bad luck at washougal. but I do like dungey and I am happy for him

Even though Rocket Ryan came from behind, Dungey was stuck behind Canard. Once free of Canard with open track in front of them, each rider put down an extremely fast lap, with Poto's being a couple tenths quicker.

Either way, Dungey earned the win, and the fans got treated to a great race.
