I just listened to his interview on DMXS and I really like this kid. He's super down to earth, funny, and genuine. I love his story as well. Came out of nowhere to land a Troy Lee ride after killing it at LL's and wins a moto at the MEC. I'm really rooting for this kid and hope he has a great career.

I Hope so too! Glad to see guys still have a chance on a budget with no factory prepping from the time They are 10. At all of the regional races in the southeast, never here a bad word about him from anyone.

We've received a lot of similar feedback on Shane's interview. There's no doubt he's a humble young speedster that is easy to pull for.

We'll see if "Frogger" sticks after he somehow navigated through all those bikes on the MEC start!

Also agree on the TLD points made. So cool to see them ascend up the ladder.

Shane seems to be a nice kid and as long as he stays grounded and doesn't become a "rock star" like some of the kids do when they hit it big he will have a great career because he is a great rider. i got to watch him moto a couple weeks ago at club MX and his style is so smooth and in control that he looks like he is going slow when he is passing all the fast guy's.
Kinda like that other kid that used to ride Suzuki's. I think his name was Dungey or something like that.Laughing

Frogger has a nicer ring to it than Lucky MoFo. Smile

Vegas the first time I'd met him, and he was laid-back, having a blast, fun to talk to, and he's very, very fast.

Who couldn't pull for this guy? I'm partial to the riders that come into their own solely on the big bikes in the amateurs. Trey Canard comes to mind.

i like his style, speed and aggression. I picked him to win MEC back when in one of those posts prior to the cup. was half right. Sad that get off at the start of moto2 was scary.

I like the fact that he expects to WIN! I think it is so lame when a rider has expectations to finish top ten. Your a racer, you should expect to win and fight your ass off for it. Too many riders are scared to say they will win and are defeated before they even take off.
