Think he crashed in both races last year, but we all know what he is capable of in the right kind of conditions.

I thought he looked pretty good in the qualifier and his second moto on Sunday to be fair.

Could be. But I would think Pro Circuit would have a good base setup to go off of, considering they field a Euro team. I think it was just the rough ass track, and the riding technique shift in order to go fast in it/ not crash. It's nothing like he's been trying on all year/ ever.


In France you could chalk that one up to nerves. They aren't just plain better than him, his "track" record proves that.

Maybe 'they' were just plain better than him in France and Belgium and he would be plain better then them in America.

This is a concept that many people have dared to suggest on here numerous times, but for some reason its not a theory that is widely accepted. Can't imagine why?

The Americans are plain better at the MXON European tracks year after year. How does that fit into your little theory. Bagget crashed, that could happen to any Euro whether they were in Europe or America.

Bagget's biggest weakness is his starts. that was his problem all year, and they sucked in Lommel.

starting bad there (unless your name is Herlings) is a huge disadvantage

Because since Villopoto in 2008 your MX2 riders have not performed particularly well at the MXdN.

Plus Saint Jean d'Angely was the first proper GP track since Ernee in 2005, the last few European tracks (06, 08, 09) were not really established circuits.

All it comes down to is a lack of variation with the AMA nationals.

The G.P. riders would not go to USA & dominate, the AMA guys are super fast around those tracks. The G.P, guys are however fast over a larger variety of track types. Valkensward, Kagums, Leirop would all be in the G.P. riders favour. Also the G.P. riders will cope with mud better.

At the end of the day the AMA nationals are just that, a National. Be such a waste for riders like herlings & caroli to ride in US. No tracks to showcase there full talent. Thats prob why caroli & many other top G.P, riders dont bother crossing the pond.

They had Jon Primo with them who works now for Pro Circuit. Jon was Musquin Mechanic when he clinched his 2 World Championship titles and was still with him forhis first year in the USA. Jon knows how to set a bike up for sand conditions and knows a little about KTMs...

I was very surprised buy the us performance at Lommel. Bar maybe Tony and Jeff I thought they would have everyone else covered. I had convinced my self that the us had it wrapped up but Dungy and Baggat had a total night mare.
But every one can have a bad days racing

did you happen to look at any national s this year , how the hell can you say he convincingly beat Roczen week in week out, thats pure CRAP , sure he won a lot of race s , but how many races did Roczen lead to right to the end of the race this year , some people go on here like Roczen had a terrible year , he was as fast as every on , and every one is going on about the sand , but for anyone from europe heading over to the US , has to deal with the heat , which i think Roczen found hard ,

Nowhere did I say Roczen was unimpressive, I said Baggett beat him convincingly this year, which he did. Compare moto and overall wins. There's a pretty stark, self explanatory distinction there.
