We tried. We failed. We now must redouble our efforts to recapture our god-given right to the top rung of the MX world's ultimate podium.

It won't be easy as we will have to endure an entire year of abuse by our sworn enemies such as Mohammed. McCread and MXGeoff will be emboldened to make even more audacious verbal attacks on the U.S. motocross-industrial complex. We should expect outrageous claims from those asserting to represent the entire country of Europe. They may say things like they invented motocross and that Jeffery Herlings was immaculately conceived in a motocross version of sex on the beach, making him somehow invincible in the sand.

This war, the war for motocross supremacy, is a war worth fighting and dying for many times over. Our manhood is at stake and the embarrassment we suffered today will be remembered for a long, long time. "Remember the Lommel" will be our victory cry.

If we really wanted to get even we'd move it from Glen Helen to the LA Coliseum in 2015. Put the Euros out of their element about as much as Team USA was today.

Not a sad day to me. There were some world class performances there today. Germany and Belgium deserved the win. We need to add a new national on the beach so the boys will be prepared in the future.

Win 7 in a row, lose 1 that is held on their personal practice track after our boys make a boatload of mistakes?

I'll take it.

Come on we gotta lose every once in a while. That's the only way the other kids will still come out and play.

Today the devil won on his playground. Though it doesn’t happen very often, sometimes the devil pulls the wool over God's eyes when he isn't paying attention, as we saw on this day with our own eyes in "High Definition" (it appears the "HD" stream was also another trick of the devil).

We have only one course to pursue and that's to pray for future victory so that in the coming years we will not be forsaken again at the MXoN, no matter what tricks the devil may have up his sleeve.

A prophet shall soon be revealed to the MX community to ensure that we are ready, willing, and able to carry out God's plans for our sport and our country.

Sure, why not! Wink Probably no further off typical "motocross" than the sand of Lommel is. In all seriousness though, it was great to see the performance Herlings, Cairoli, etc. put on today. They showed they are in a different league in those conditions.

I just want to know why it's so hard for some of my fellow American's to accept defeat? Let all the boasting threads go unanswered. This isn't directed towards this thread. I just happened to want to say it while in this one.
