Except, Cairoli and Herlings. Maybe it's the rider sometimes.

Is the fim works 350 really a 350? I thought that was the argument way back when this was still the argument of the day.

the only 350 about that bike is the 350 sticker on it.

Stock 350 at that...............................................

Even at 410cc it is still 40cc below the displacement allowed!

I cant see what it would not be a 350, Roczen was running close to the same lap times on a 250, but hey guess if KTM is doing that to their 350, the 250 is really a 390 and the 450 a 500 it only makes sense right!

I believe it could have done better in the US. If you look at laptimes of 250 and 450,sometimes the 250 is faster and there the 350 could shine. The 350 never had the best riders on it.

If you take a tape measure, and carefully measure the cylinder in the pic, you will see it has a bore size of 81mm x 80mm = 410cc.
Try it, it's true. Laughing

Not buying it. Watching the guys in Supercross, they had to ride the piss out of it to make it work there. It was scary to watch.

I think the 350 is a great bike for consumers, but not so great for the big boy pro class here in the states.

I bet it's a 350...

If the 250s are stretched and getting the power they say they do, and the 450s are being tuned to be more usable then why wouldn't a full on factory 350 be a fire breather?!?! Prolly weighs nothing too...

Remember in 2009, Reedy said his "factory" AMA spec 450 was a full 19 pounds heavier than Steve Ramons Works Suzuki...

19 POUNDS!!!! That's worth heaps of horsies just there...

It's no surprise to me that the 350 goes so well round Lommel, especially if you really know how to ride sand like Ken, Tony and of course Jeffrey. These guys know how to stay on top it without burying the bike deep into every berm.

What riders were on that bike?? If you put bagget, tomac or barcia on that bike they could win IMO..

If it is a 410cc he's running I'm really impressed how he holds that throttle open!

More exciting racing IMO, when riders have to push the limits of the bike, especially when lap times are comparable. I'd much rather see a rider ring a bikes neck going through a corner vs. the point and shoot over-abundance power of a 450. I've seen videos of both Dungey & DeCoster saying they don't worry about the motor, they have plenty of power. That makes me think they can sacrifice some cc's & still be competitive @ the top.
