What are the best knee braces?

if its not about the cost i would get the CTi2 I love mine and sometimes your health insurance with help cover some of the cost.

Ditto what this guy said.

I have Cti 2's they rock.

I also have top of the line EVS brace. It is a great brace, just heavier than the Cti2.

Just FYI, I believe the Cti2 is about $2600. A pair of EVS are less than $1000.

I have a full custom CTI on my right knee (thanks to my health insurance when I was in the US) and asterisk on my left. They are both very good - the CTI is lighter and less bulky, but both are reasonably comfortable. Once you ride with them once you will feel naked without them!

I think I will go with the asterisk and then get my doctor to perscribe me some CTI braces. He said I have to be 9 months post op before he would write me a scrip. I am 6 right now and the knee feels strong. I ride a little but I don't want to push it to much.

I have the original PODS and they are very good braces. I had EVS WEBS prior and they kept falling apart and I would have to re-rivet hem over and over.

I've tried them all. Will never use anything but the Fox Pods. They are hands down my fav. BTW my knees are both $hit.

After riding for a decade with Asterisk, I have newer had any knee injuries what so ever (not prior to that either). While living in the US I was in contact with them a couple of times because some pieces broke, their customer support was so impressive, actually I have newer experienced better customer support before. In Sweden it's a bit harder though, because you have to go via some reseller, as in local store, and that sux.

They are a bit bulky though, but I feel they do their job. I cant say the others are less, just that the Asterisk have delivered for me in all areas.

I just bought a pair of the new Asterisks and they are kinda bulky.. But my knee feels bionic in them haha .I also had to order the XL ones as I am 6,2 250. They are very confortable and dont bother me at all when i ride.

My Donjoy Armours are awesome! Used them for football (soccer) training soon after my acl recon as well.

I used to wear a donjoy until I saw someone snap their femur because of wearing a brace. Broke right above the top of the brace on an innocent crash

I have had the same results with the EVS. I like them but you do need to keep a full parts kit handy. The full strap and rivet kit is only like $20. I would highly suggest buying the rivet setting tool if you do buy them.
