"it would be nice to put an end to all the talk", he said speaking to Racer x, he also talks about he grew up riding sand until he was fifteen. They will be riding Lommel before the race and getting a good few days on the sand, those guys will have had plenty of time to adapt. It isn't going to shock them.
Dungey will be right there I think with the top sand riders.
The Belgian team better find some arrogance to take on the US if they want to win the team event.

He got his first lessons for a motorcycle drivers license today.
Europe is not a a country. It is hard for riders from other countries to go fast in it too, unless they decide to live there and learn.
"it would be nice to put an end to all the talk" What or where is this talk coming from? The internet? People around Ryan?......
This is already the best MXdN, ever!

Whereas people who watch both say they are pretty similar in quality, but also very different so it is tough to compare.
Saying that a GP rider can beat an American rider, isn't saying that GP riders are better. It is pointing out that GP riders can beat the Americans, proving that they are all a similar level, because everyone outside America knows how good the Americans are.
However, If an American wins, Americans think it proves Americans are superior to "Euros" and as a consquence the World Championship.
Like Dave Thorpe said " they (US) talk themselves up, and talk us (GP Riders) down" That is the crux of the problem, add to the fact a lot of American's don't even watch the GP races. So a lot of time they are claiming to be better without even watching much of the GP series.
In reality they are all great riders of very similar ability.
But he has so much pressure on him to do well for Holland it is crazy, they have an outside chance of winning, he basically has to win both his motos to give them a shot at the podium, or even a win (if the old De Reuver shows up and Coldenhoff rides like he did a Lierop). He has no margin for error, and you can bet Cairoli does not want him to beat him in that third moto, nevermind Dungey, especially since Herlings will have no rest in between compared to them.
Nevermind Herlings, I want GB to win it all!
Don't forget the GP guys are racing against each other for their countrues just as much as the Americans.
If it was me, I would have put Anstie and Shaun on 450s and Tommy on the 250.
Either way it is a strong team with very solid riders who are all good in the sand.
Post a reply to: Dungey ready to beat Herlings and Cairoli!
