I can't wait for Echeconee next weekend. I will be there! We got about 4 vet riders from our area going over there. Should be a good time.

One of the best tracks in the NorCal area.

Cool to see Vurb get involved and all the sponsors that came out to support. Great event man.

Do the top tier amateurs race these events? My son races Bmx but likes watching mx on tv! Want to take him to watch if theres a good turn out of fast dudes. He'll be coming off of a national weekend and a little relaxation at Mx track sounds fun!

Turn-out did not seem to live up to the hype. Does anybody have any idea why so many people chose not to race on Sunday?

Around 1200 participants and parking area was full. Seems like a big enough turn out to me.

I was going to say sounded good to me. Plus I believe that this was the first year for this one on the west coast right? I think it will be 10 years of it in Georgia.

yup, first west-coast round... and it sounded like a big success

they have only been held in Georgia since 2008, but hopefully the one in Echeconnee will be the biggest one yet!

Bulmer won't be there, but I will. I'll make sure the vet classes get mad love, too! Thanks for coming out to support it.

What makes it a "classic" if it has been around for only 3 years?

We have been to the Georgia race the past 3 years. Turnout is usually good, and with all the training fascilities in the area, many of the top amateurs show up. They also invite top riders from around the country in each class to be "hired guns'. These guys get to race free, and wear a bib with a target on it. If you win, you ride for free next year with a target on your back. It's usually a lot of fun, and more low key than a lot of the big races.

As a sponsor, this is a must-do event for us every year. The vibe is great, coverage is greater, and everyone of our riders and crew members that have went come back excited about doing it again next year.
