What a great ride. You Britts should be proud. The man was on it, with pressure from behind..

He's signed for the same team but on a kxf 450 for 2013.

If you haven't watched the mx2 races from the British Gp ,make sure you do!

Yeah he's really go well right now. I think he can be consistently top 5 next year with maybe the odd podium here and there. I think that's doable and a realistic goal overall. But it's going to be tough. The top 5 is already occupied by some damn good riders so if he's to do that then someone will have to be pushed aside, obviously. Regardless it'll be fun to see that's for sure.

I'm curious to see how he gets on at Des Nations this year. He had a great second moto last year.. Passed Reed and a bunch of others.

Searle and deep sand are not super best friends. He'll be good but not insane like Cairoli or Herlings ...

Things havent really played out the way Tommy wants at the GPs before this last one. It's nice to see Tommy back at the top of the podium again.

And oh how i enjoy to watch the stupid spoiled brat aka Herlings lose....

Good video. I like to see a bit of behind the scenes stuff. Herlings is a great rider but I don't like his apparent attitude, so I enjoy seeing Searle beat him when he can. I haven't watched the race videos yet, but I will make sure I do at some point.

The link above didn't work for me, so here is the video:

I reckon he'll be a title contender straight up. He rode great at the MXdN last year. Went from 20th to 4th in the last race. Thats a pretty good effort.

As for Lommel, he should ride better on the 450. There's a certain finesse to going Herling's pace on a 250 in the sand.

Tommy rode awesome last weekend, but people are hyping it up like he won the world championship or something.

Herlings won all his home GP's under the same kind of ''home pressure'' and at the first one he was only 15 (!) years old. The dude is already 23 and is getting beat by a 17 year old in the championship..

People are hyping up Tommy's win because Jeffrey has been so strong this year. Jeffrey is the better rider and that merely underlines what an incredible performance it was by Tommy under massive pressure.

I am not so sure he is the better rider. I was at quite a few GP's this year and last and to be honest I don't think he has the same power as the factory KTM. Fermo was a good example last year. On the big hills you could see Herlings bike out pull the kawi and Herlings isn't a little dude either.

Sand that is all Jeffrey though. He is insane in the stuff especially when you see it first hand. It is just not possible. Watched Everts pull some strange faces and shake his head last year at some of the stuff Herlings was doing and Stefan was/is a great sand rider.

After watching Matterly you could see that Herlings was really on it to the point were he dropped it. I think last weekend Tommy used the energy of the home GP and pushed himself to his limit. Beyond what he has done so far this year. That confidence will carry forward as he now knows in his head that with a full on assault he can beat Herlings straight up. I think in the back of Tommy's mind he was not convinced all season that his bike is where it needs to be. Something just seemed to deflate him a little.

I'm not sure people are hyping it up like he won the world championship or anything but he's a more popular rider than Herlings and as such a home win for him will necessarily attract more positive publicity.

i think tommy would only be 1 point behind him now if the did not have the dnf's.. i think the ktms are just to strong i mean they nearly hole shot every mx1 and mx2 race even caroli on the 350 gets loads of holeshots or is right up there

AWESOME!

Be hard to match the atmosphere that weekend. Mainly because there are SOO many passionate fans, and so few British GP winners to root for! haha.

Herlings had one too and some really bad moto's in Brazil so it's a bit less dramatic as it seems.

3 dnfs he has had, herlins is in front by just over 50 points so tommy could of been well in front if taking to account the points he's lost

I think Jeffrey showed he can run Searle's pace on hard pack in Loket and Matterley Basin.

Searle is a way better mud rider than Jeffrey though and in those races Jeffrey lost a lot of points.

Hopefully they can duke it out once more in Faenza and Teutschental to end the season in a nice way.
