That's pretty bloody impressive around that track. This kid is only getting quicker.

It was incredible the way he was attacking those ruts in the second moto. I had to rewind the dvr a couple times to watch it over again.

yup. i bounced pretty deep into the 2nd moto but i was counting as they came around. 8,6,4 second lead and i hit the road, no way was barcia fading that charge. eli was flying.

i'm amazed he can do it despite being heavier than pretty much all 250 pro pilots- he's a big boy.

Eli......" I think " is a legend in the making.

Reason why.....he attacks certain parts of the track like nobody else and has some moto's that are just pure genius. He's big enough and strong enough to probably ride the living crap out of a 450!

It's my opinion.......but I think when he finally moves up to the 450's.......he's going to be kicking ass and taking names.

Mark my words.....that kid is going to be a threat for any and all titles over the next decade.

Honda better definitely think about 2014 soon and figure out how to hold onto this guy. Everyone is gonna be after him. I agree with Jeff, barring injury he is a legend in the making. On a side note; Barcia has got to be thinking what the f? Tomac from way back is rolling him and dude is just gonna get better.

Pretty crazy how much he's changed since an amateur... i remember watching a vid of him when he first signed for Geico and he was small, smooth, almost timid around the track, no revving...

Now he is angry at the dirt in front of him, like BamBam but with way more momentum... it's pretty awesome to watch... i also agree he's gonna be a beast on a big bike, but I don't think he should rush to get there...

I think Tomac is in the making to become a mixture of Windham's personality and fan base, Stewart's and RV's raw speed, and Dungey's work ethic and determination. I can't agree more with the title threat comment. He seems so well rounded as a young kid and a great family backing him.

I have to agree as long as any injuries don't get in the way.

I agree Jeffro. I think the fab 5 better get ready because Tomac is coming soon. He's very smooth but has more of an attack style than Dungey.

You put all that in a blender and it starts to sound like a recipe for a RC4 margarita. Let's hope so!

At the 20:50 mark of the second moto, Tomac rode all the way up the face of one of the walls cross rutted. It was just insane to watch him work the bike under him there.

Yes definitely!

Injuries aside....I think Eli has a very bright future in this sport. It looks like to me , he has a great base to work off of for racing the 450's. I just see him as having more potential than some of the other lites guys out there.

I see Bagget attack the track with a lot of aggression......and every once in a while I see Eli having just as much " Or more" than Bagget. Not sure where it comes from........but holy crap.....there have been some motos I have seen both these guys do this year that just make my jaw drop.

Incredible to watch a guy ride a bike like that.

We are blessed here in the good ol USofA with one hell of a farm system... combine that with the genes that ET's daddy passed along and you have a whole bucket load of potential! I cannot wait to see how far Eli can take his career.
