$5 says he does not win one this weekend. Who wants to take that bet?

What makes you think he will win a moto this weekend? Unidilla has a Baggett charge written all over it. I say Baggett wins both motos.... one of them with less than two laps to go.

Dilla is a high speed , keep the throttle pinned type track........and to me this is the type of track where Bagget will really shine.

Hard to tell though.....the 250 class is so stacked this year. Wouldn't surprise me to see Roczen , Musquin , Tomac or Barcia pull out a moto win as well........just seems like a "Bagget track" to me.

Hello.
My little twins have christening tomorrow. After dinner my guests will / must see the race tomorrow, in Germany it is evening time. Due to the fact that I have seen a lot of historic races of Kenny, sometimes with tears in my eyes, I guess it is time for another historic win, at least one moto win. What day cuold be better.
So please cross your fingers for Kenny, my twins Sina and Tim.

Thank you
Oliver

Im with ya Oliver! Last weekend was yet another heart breaker.

To be honest, i was not stoked on how happy Kenny was after the 2nd moto, he should be PISSED he didnt win, not "happy to get 2nd".

I think it's time for him to step up, if necessary even take some risk to prove a point? All us supporters have give him slack because of humidity or whoppers being slightly different (in the US) etc, but I feel that wont fly for the remaining of the series (for either of us).
He needs to get over whatever issue he deals with.

Or he could adjust to the fact he's a former champ that became a top five guy "only", something I figure he won't cope with.

Seriously, I went from expecting him to win the series to this new, "I hope he wins a heat at least"...

Whats with all the pressure? The kid should go out and have fun. He's making some money doing what he loves. He's doing fine and may do better next year.

i pull for the kid every weekend. hes fast, has great style and likes to have fun in life. and he looks just like my little brother (bro is actually 24yrs old) once he finds his end of race speed, i think he gonna gain alot of confidence and start to show his true ability. hoping its starts this weekend.

I don't get the logic that since he is not the fastest rider on the track, he is not as fast as he was in 2011. He has been flying and riding his ass off. What is wrong with him not being the absolute fastest? He is getting out rode and out raced, plain and simple. The class is stacked. I can't see where anyone in the top 5 needs excuses to why they are not number 1.

Sounds good, but a bit far from reality and nothing in common with what we do on weekends.

They are high paid professional athletes, on the highest level possible. Despite what they say, "just having fun" is total BS. This is serious business for all involved, and imaging being a guy like Roger D working his ass off, and bring on a guy who "just having fun".

Give it some though, and you will realize the absurdity your assumption. This is, or should at least be dead serious.

He does have end of race speed. Baggett and sometimes Tomac are just on a different level at the end of races. Especially Baggett. He's doing great, and he has plenty of speed at the end of the race.

Yeah but.. I have seen most of the GPs he rode last couple of years and I just don't think it's the same rider. Sure ha has had som good motos, but all over he hasn't been as good, I think he has another level in him..

Just look att mxon 2010 and 2011, specially that second moto 2010 til he got tired

Not saying he can match the speed of Bagget, cuz he is amazing, maybe he can maybe he can't. But he sure got more in him

Yeah, i really like his style. Hoping he finishes strong. Can't wait for steel city. I think its really hard to learn these tracks in two practice sessions and then race. No excuses though he should of been able to hold on and win a few motos this year.

Look.....I friggin' love Kenny.....but the truth is , he hasn't ever had to race a full season with guys like Tomac , Barcia and Bagget. He isn't the only one struggling here you know??......Musquin is as well.

If you look at their finishes ( MM and KR ) thay are on about the same pace with each other as they were across the pond. "Here".....it's a different type of MX.

"HERE"........they flat out haul fucking ass from the drop of the gate all the way to the checkers. Both KR and MM haven't ever had to deal with that. Both those guys are dealing with three Americans that are complete animals.....ALL 3 !!

Kenny isn't doing anything wrong........I just think the guys over here had the pace up to where he wasn't quite comfortable of running just yet.

One more key thing.......he needs to adjust his fitness program to be able to be just as strong on the last lap , as he is on the first. He "does" fade slightly.......and that's where these guys are getting him.

Just my 2 cents.

I think he's just as good as last year, if not better. The difference? Barcia is much better, Tomac is much better, and Baggett is much more consistent. Had he come here a year earlier, I think it would have been a toss up between him and Wilson for the championship.

Maybe they should have changed the races from 30+2, to 25 mins flat.

He'd have a few moto wins by now. And maybe he could win an overall, or even a championship, someday.

I have been more impressed by Musquin. I believe he came back from injury and has been getting better and better. I believe Musquin is the better of the two KTM pilots. If both are healthy next year for the outdoors, I expect Musquin to do better in the championship.

I think the difference is the experience Barcia, Baggett and Tomac have of the AMA circuit and the training/work schedule they have implemented. They have all their shit in line and all three are doing great this season because its the culmination of two/three years worth of focus and preparation. They have improved massively since last year while Kenny, two years younger, is sampling these tracks and life in America for the very first time.

Don´t kid yourself with how gnarly all the AMA riders always are.

IMO it is the gnarliest 250f class of all time.
Before it used to be 1 villopoto and before that 1 James Stewart. Theese 4-5 guys more than match the avg. lap times of Ryan Dungie, and has so all season. That with a more beat up track than 450 class.
Imaging how hard it is to get a top 5 in 250f class this year compared to the 2 previous years.

Kenny And Marv are doing just fine. They have speed and more important att this point, consistency, witch is very unusual when breaking new ground. How can anybody expect more from them when racing the likes of BB, ET and JB who are veterans of the class. They will instantly be contenders when moving up.

Many riders have speed on occation but them both have championship blood in them. Plus they are smart, the dont try to kill themselft
with frustration of getting beat. Many riders would have crashed their brains out trying to go BB,ET speed at this point.
