How would you rate current manufacturer reliability?

wanna hear you opinions on this: ( remember reliablity in mx bikes only. as in how long you can beat on them with only basic maintenance)
ill give you IMO
1.yamaha
2. suzuki
3.ktm
4/5 honda kawasaki

heres my reasoning.
Ive seen yamaha go over 200 hrs on stock piston/ valves
suzuki has always been good to me my current race machines
ktms are good but not really for me
honda to me has significantly lost their credibility in this aspect ever since they came out with crfs.ive seen blown motors after 40hrs constant valve adjustments
kaws- same thing seen weird ass issues cheap platstic seat foam constant valve adj cheap wear parts and explosions

Our 2008 KTM 144SX has been an excellent bike with really nice build quality. The castings, forgings, billet components and the chromoly frame are all impressive. The minimal hardware to remove bodywork, no tool required air filter changes, hydraulic clutch, Brembo brakes, excellent nickel plating on the exhaust.....list goes on. Fit and finish of everything is impressive as well.

Planning on getting a new one as a matter of fact.

Not impressed with the mechanical/engine quality of my Yamaha and Honda 250F's at all. Freakshow failures on both of them.

So you're rating KTM 3rd because they aren't "for you"?

Isn't it simply amazing how they construct these bikes? It blows my mind how easy they are to work on and the quality of parts used.

Yea I know they're all good but ktms
Are
Pricy and it's a little harder to get some stuff for them.
I wud wanna ride the new 125 looks sick. I do rele like how they still put
R&d into 2 strokes. But that's weird I heard those 144s had heads that wud
Crack. I honestly have ridden them all and have broken them all

Munn Racing has just about anything you would need, and can have it to your door just as fast as a local dealer. The prices aren't much different than the prices of Jap bikes. Some parts are cheaper, some aren't.

Since you asked about the bikes, now ask about the retail customers and the way they can screw up bikes. I mean people that don't know how to do any type of maintaince like keeping the oils changee, spokes tighten, cleaned air filters cleaning and lubing chains and adjusting them. I won't even go to setting sag or adjusting compression and rebound or doing a brake job.
