The scene from crusty 3 set to FUEL was the balls. I remember i couldn't whip or jump big at the time but after watching it I could have swore I could go out and try it. hahahahha
This was on his twitter 2 weeks ago. Wonder if anyone has video from that night? He's even rocking the old boots and gloves.

At Budds, when Henry broke his back, those 2 Hondas sounded different from any 2 stroke I ever heard.
They didn't brrrraaaaapppp, they kinda barked.

Bad ass 250 right there.
The rumor is (it's almost believable) is that the 96 factory bike made 60hp. That would be more peak power than a factory 450, right now. Hell, the CRF450 is 49, stock. Even with a bullshit factor of a full -5hp, that's still 55.
There was a guy riding a 93 CR250 (same bike, pink plastics) at Blue Diamond last weekend. It drew a little crowd of 30-something yr olds.

Why would it be unbelievable? There are tuners out there with digital mapping tools that can get almost 60hp from a 250 2-stroke and only charge you a few hundred bucks.

I didn't say it was unbelievable. Personally I believe it, especially since Honda was getting 205hp from Doohan's 500GP bike that same year. they were HEAVY into two-stroke development then. I just did not want to state it as fact, because I really don't know. You'll see people make "true-isms" on here a lot, though.
I'd totally rebuild and race a 93-96 CR250 with some newer CRF forks and brakes on it. They look really good with black wheels on them (what doesn;t, bro)

This picture was taken at Lake Elsinore a few weeks back during their Friday Night Lights race. We was on the starting gate lined up to race the pro class and he had a malfunction before the gates dropped. I was told it was his chain or something, needless to say he didnt race that night.
Mcgrath. CR250. Nacnacs.
If you don't wanna see that you're a nazi.
