Well Carlos is banned last time I heard so he is completely shut up. I think it says nothing about the bike. Dungey is a fast rider regardless the bike. But RV were here, KTM would have nothing at this point, they would not be leading the 450 or the 250 so to say it is the bike is dominant is a bit of a strech. KTM has improved, no link. The reason no KTM haters, no one is riding a 350. Are KTM's reliability issues a thing of the past? I don't know because I don't own one, but I prefer the Japanese bikes, and I don't like orange, they look like a pumpkin and black and orange is so Halloween.

How many 450 mx series has RV completed? Consitency is as much a part of championships, as speed is. Right now, RD would be winning on his current bike or the 2012. He's just much better than the competition & would overcome shortfalls of the bike. Yes, I believe the RD5 Replica is better than it's predicessor, I believe it's predeicessor could also be competitive in todays field. Who said the bike is dominant, I haven't seen one?

One of those people that buys based on color & the feeling that Jap Bikes are somehow American. I think you would be happier opening your eyes to change.
A wise conservative man will look at history, KTM has shall we say a colored reputation for reliability and would stick with something that works unless it is proven something is superior. The Kow looked superiro to KTM in the last races. Just sayin.

Dungey's history has him in the top 6 all time for National Wins & has a good shot @ being 3rd to 4th by season end. Yet, you say he doesn't have a shot against RV, who is no where near close to those accolades. You seem to just pick & choose which history to look at - which doesn't make you very wise at all. So far, Dungey's KTM has 0 mechanicals / a 100% success rate, history says it's more reliable than his Suzuki last year - I wouldn't bet against it's reliability. Every company has their share of mechanicals, pick out your favorite Ameri-Jap bike & I'm sure I can point out plenty of issues they've had.

I don't choose, I just watch tv or go to the races and watch RV dominate RD. I like RD, he is a fast rider but when they race together, RV almost ALWAYS comes out on top. That's just the way it is, that is just the facts. Another fact, all the big boys are out of the 450 class, Dungey is last man standing, he is expected to win but with RV back in I would not expect him to win. I have seen too many mechanicals in the history of KTM, I would never buy one. But that has nothing to do with RV being a better rider than RD. Remember when RV passed RD on the last lap in the last corner, Dungey had nothing for RV. Just because RD wins a championship for KTM does not mean they are good, it means he had a good factory bike. KTM is not dominating in the 250 class because there is competition in that class. Dungey has no one that could beat him in the 450 class right now.. He is now where he has always been second best to RV, The bike did not have much to do with that.

There is no Ameri-Jap bike. The bikes are made in Japan and made by the Japanese. You calling it that tells me you are a KTM fanboy looking to promote that brand. KTM will promote itself without your help. The Japanese have a long history supporting MX/SX and they deserve a lot of credit for that. KTM is a new comer by comparison and get the accolades of a new commer that must overcome its reliability history as well as the no link, poor handling bike. And battle the 350 PR disaster that flew over American MX and SX like a lead balloon. It will take some time.

People with eye-flaps on wil keep repeating that KTM still has to prove themselfs.

They rule Dakar, enduro competition and motocross. The only slice of the cake they are after is the US market and they are spending allot of $ to get the brand promoted over there. KTM already has set their mark on the off-road market, a LONG time ago.

I don't think its a case of anyone being a KTM fanboy here or promoting KTM,there are a lot of facts that show how the brand has done extremely well in recent years,Faceaz has some very good points, everyone has mechanicals, look at the sheer number of bikes running in the GPs over a long time now and their reliability.RV coming out on top may well have nothing to do with the brand either,he'd no doubt be equally as good on a KTM,I doubt many would argue that, just as you say "Dungey is fast rider regardless the bike",you can't have it both ways!

RD has showed he could push Stewart all the way and settled in on his new ride to be awesome, they've only just started becoming serious in the class very recently, and as for the 350,Short has gone back to Honda and he's still a minute behind,Alessi too is pretty much as far back as the last couple of years too, considering the amount of guys injured, his win on the 350 was against a full field of top riders too

It seems to me after a quick look at your previous posts, you're so much like another Carlos It's uncanny, and we could argue all day with you, btw where did you hear he was banned?

I like rd5, but even the biggest fan knows this season is a gift right now. I wish the comp were racing so there was no question.

KTM has done the right things. Times are tough and they have money to spend and they made good choices. Go Red Bull!

I find it really interesting how short the MX worlds memory is and how fast perceptions change. I'm sure if you searched this site you'd find dozens of posts with guys saying Dungey is done for choosing KTM etc etc.. . now we are getting used to seeing a KTM with a 45 second lead in the 450 class like its totally normal and of course theres two orange steeds in the top 5 of the 250 class each week. The real swing I think will come if KTM sign up another tier one rider.... Imagine Dungey & Wilson both on KTMs, plus Roczen with a years track knowledge under his belt... now we're talking!
Lets not forget that Musquin will have 2 years track knowledge going into next year... lets hope he does not break a damn hand at the start of the nationals then.

I won't argue the point all day with you, that is what I have seen, if you see something different, fine.

Alessi was on a 450. Short took the 350.

I read from Ocs Scotty he was banned, I thought he was a moderator http://www.vitalmx.com/forums/Moto-Related,20/Message-to-Ken-Roczen,124…

So anyone who doesn't agree with you or had a differencing opinion you consider a Carlos, ok but don't expect me to respond to you anymore. I agree with Roger D, he know his stuff it is mostly rider, but my observation is that Dungeys bike is better than Alessi or Shorts, so if the bike is improved, the previous ones were not that great, and the production bikes were something I would buy in the past after seeing what others went through with them.

It's not the bike, its the team. The team has improved allot compared to the previous seasons, DeCoster put his needed budget on the table and Pit agreed on it. And what we see is the result of that and DeCosters management.

The bike improved because they finally got the resources to do so. Not because they where incompetent before, they just did not threw the kinds of resources (be it money and expertise) at it like they do now.

Yea it seems a bit odd when I hear that too, the one KTM I had never had an issue.
