The only factory part that would ever help Alessi is maybe a titanium boat anchor, so when he tosses anchor and fades he would at least be dragging less weight
That trans is modified as well. Shifts very smooth. A factory trans wouldn't work any better.

Mike does not get the full Ti bolt kits, Magnesium or Aluminum brakes, Ti engine internal parts, Ti sub frame, etc that a full works bike has.
I'd say it might be more like 8-10 pounds if I was betting my money.
Obviously his Varner built engine is plenty fast and reliable, but I'd bet works suspension, pull rods, linkage options, etc would be a huge help to his bike. That being said his MB1 suspension is no joke.
