No regerts Tatoo

So, my neighbor who's 21 got a new tattoo on his calf of the Green Lantern symbol. About the size of a dollar bill.
He was showing it off to me, so proud explaining about the Green Lantern comic series. Telling me of his powers and whatever. I'm not a comic fan, but acted interested since he's a pretty good kid and all.
Then, almost 2 weeks to the day, DC comics announces the newly revamped Green Lantern series will have some changes....the main one being Green Lantern is gay. ha ha.....now THAT is funny!

Another reason to never get a tattoo....unless of course it's tribal art or barbed wire, that is timless coolness.

I disagree. Tattoos have to some have meaning (which they 100% MUST have imo). My son got his first ink this year and it has a deep meaning to him and to the rest of the family. His grandfather was a great man who was a lighthouse keeper and radio man during WWII.

I agree with terry, if they mean something, they arent stupid, my friend served in Afghanistan and has a tattoo on his back in remembrance to one of his friends who was killed.

Very nice!!! I agree 100%, I have a 1/2 sleeve that tells the story of an important time in my life. Very personal and meaning.

I've always said that when I find the right design, the right artist, and the right reason for getting one, I'll get a tat. Those stars haven't aligned yet. I want No Regerts.

Tattoos are for the person wearing it. Personally, I don't like them and wouldn't want one. But, that's my skin and my choice. I don't judge someone for having one, but I think most look terrible.

Got a new tattoo last week, keeping up with the biblical theme of a couple of my others. This one is an "original sin" tattoo, though I still need to have the snake added above Eve in another visit.
