Well, maybe not the best, but some cool bikes from the Houston SX this year. Out of the first eight shown, seven are mine and the number 20 CR480 obviously belongs to a fellow Vitaler. Rhett?

Had 5 of them there last year. OW27 Yamaha, Wise Replica, Richter Replica, White Mugen and a Mini Elsinore. The Legends Booth was set up at the far end of the pits last year. Cool setup they have now, basically a traveling moto museum.

I hope it wasn't one of your bike signs that my little 3 year old rascal broke! He got a little too close and kicked it on accident. The aclyric(I think) snapped in two pieces and I was so embarrassed! I apologize if it was yours or anybody in here for that matter!

Too funny. Yes, one of them did end up broken, but what do you expect when you leave stuff laying around in a parking lot with 20,000 people wandering around? If that's the worst that has happened yet, I'm doing good. I'm just glad that there are actually so many people that seem to enjoy seeing the old stuff. I had a 70 something year old lady drooling over my 73 CR250 one year. She wanted a photo with it so I pulled it off the stand for her and her son(son, I think) and she promptly threw a leg over it. Come to find out, she was one of the owners of the MX track in Conroe, Tx for many years and used to race a 74 CR125. Cool stuff.

Cool man. As you know by my Montesa post, I also love vintage bikes. I have some nice memories growing up and riding my uncle's old bikes. Thanks for keeping them things alive for us to enjoy and sorry again for the broken sign! I have some pics from that day, Let me see if I can find some.

that day was the first time i ever saw a true mugen bike, it blew me away

and thanks for the kind words folks, it means a lot, as far as the music goes, idk i just picked a song i thought was nice a low key, i don't particularly like that type of music (techno-pop sort of stuff) but i think it fits

TG, there was a guy that picked up the plate and said "It's ok, don't worry". I mean, I will gladly replace it. If I was that type, I would've never brought it up.

I think TG was making a funny. Anyhooo, no big deal. And thanks for those pics, the first one is one of my brothers post vintage RM's. The 74 YZ250 is a friends race bike that he loans out to Danny Laporte and Gary Jones when they come out to race. Very fast bike with Laporte on it!.Cute kid too, doesn't look like too much of a troublemaker.....yet!

Two Smoke, thanks for the vid. A friend told me he saw it on Youtube so I looked it up. The Mugen is a really cool bike. Shares only the wheels and the lower end with the production bike. The water pump/clutch cover and top end convert the air cooled engine to watercooled and pretty much everything else on the bike is special production. Was fortunate enough to trade for another one recently that will be a race bike for me. If you ever see it out and about, you'll be able to take a spin on it. Should be a fun bike.

Newmann Like your bikes. Especially mugen 125. Don't ever sell that bike. I think you did good on your trade for the Harley 250.
