........lead so many to predict that "James is back", "24 - 0", "Uh-oh, look out everyone" and "Dungey's got nothin on JS".

Everytime a pic is posted of James riding, scrubbing, whipping, its the same thing.

Look, its no secret that I am not a James fan, but the adoration ( or 'nuthugging', I guess ) is getting almost stupid.

SOOOOO frickin glad that Hangtown is tomorrow. We'll see where he stacks up then. Regardless if he wins or gets 34th, I GUARENTEE that he will be the subject of 90 % of the threads this coming week.

Please delete this thread super super fast. There should be some kind of built in filter that doesn't even allow this kind of idiocy to get posted in the first place.

Well if RD, RV, DM, CR had such devoted fans then it would all even out.. Jesus, face the facts the dude has fans. Why complain about it?

First of all, there's been a ton more than a few pictures. 90% of the reaction has been to the flood of good video coverage of the last few days, and people commenting on the riding.

Second, most of what is said on this board is absurd, you just react to this stuff cause it bugs you. Get over it. The only reason people bring up the 24 and 0 thing is because he's done it before. One of only two people to do it. If that causes a few people to get carried away and start predicting it again, so be it, he earned it by doing it once before.

Any way you look at it, this has added a ton more interest to the outdoor national season and brought the energy level up huge. Any fan of the sport has to love the excitement - once they can get over their biases that is.

People are so fickle. 6 weeks ago james was getting slammed, (always crashes, past his prime, not the fastest man on the planet, bad with the fans), fast foward 6 weeks with a new bike & some cool photos (now its 24-0, so fast, etc. etc.). Personally I've always believed in him, but the statements are pretty stupid.

Who gives a shit. I don't think anyone really believes he can go 24-0, I think they say it just to see if they can aggravate anyone who would let that bother them.

There is people saying Stewart will have nothing for Dungey, no big deal.

Some of the fanboys who even care about this shit are unreal. I don't understand why people cant just enjoy watching the guys race. There is a lot worse people you can choose to dislike than a dirt bike racer.

Its pretty basic psychology I suggest. I think many of us have seen him fail for such a long time, we really wish him to turn things around. Those wishes are connected to the "happy gene" that makes us believe there's still hope and we actually trick ourself to see things from the bright side, when facts suggest the opposite. If we where all realistic, we might just give it all up.

Basically we have software that makes rather smart people dumb at times.

Why?

Cause he has a bunch of pics and vids out right now that show him "having fun" and that "the old James is back"?

I'm not frustrated. Maybe just a little saturated with James Stewart on every site I click on.

I think if anything JS has the most people wanting to actually see him do well now with the career he has had...I am one of those.

With that being said a lot of questions will be answered in 3-5 weeks time...who knows, he may very well be losing it (ooops, I just say it). I mean we dont know, but in a few weeks we will know. Don't get me wrong, I'd hate to see him walk away in the near future, but it's possible he may be the one that "doesn't have it" rather than the bike.

Dungey will take the Championship as I predicted. as for JS? it's a crap shoot as of late. I wish ALL riders good will to make the 2012 outdoors season a rememberable one.

Exactly. This is NO different than before the SX season started (as far as him posting kickass pics and vids of him ripping at home on the blue colored bike)

The "Luvvahs" just have short memories.

Thanks Scottie. Wink

Doesn't everyone remember the huge press conference with JGR and James' million dollar smile in THOSE pics? Looked like he was pretty happy there!

Lets just get the Outdoors started..........................and let James settle this.

Really? Has nothing what so ever to do with "gene's". If it did you would never be able to change your mind. You would in essence be a robot.

James has struggled on that new pos yamaha for the last two outdoor seasons so bad that the pos bike forced him to not even race. Poor dude. He is gonna go 24-0 now for sure. Oh yeah, and MC's sx win record will fall by the end of 2013 sx......GUARANTEED!!!!!

OCS Scottie just wrote what is easily the smartest post of the last 2 weeks. You know what I remember about A1 back in January? I remember RV stomping the hell out of everyone and the tone it set for the series. This was after a flood of JS7 pre-season overcoverage also.

We will see what happens, and until it does no one really knows what's to come. But those who are making ridiculous statements about him might do well to remember the supercross pre-season and temper their statements with a touch of humility. I think it is those over the top fans and their idiot statements that piss people off the most.

I don't think I've seen you post anything but different variations of the above. How you thought about focusing on your own life at any point in time or are you too wrapped up in James's?

It's gotten to the point where he needn't post anything at all in his reply. He can just go ahead and make that his sig and just leave a blank reply. Or change his name to "I ride a POS Yamaha and its good enough for me so I'm bitter that James hasn't done well on one." but that might be in excess of the character limit.

DING DING DING!! We have a winner! Two very good posts. Dungey is going to own the series, barring bad luck I think. There will be a bunch of excuses from the competition. They should all be glad Poto isnt racing, cause there would be an even bigger spankin put on the pack.

I'm excited @ the chance to see the old James Stewart, the sport has been missing it. I do think he'll do much better on yellow, just not worth all these BS threads. Huge difference between watching him reel of laps on the blue bike @ his own personal, perfectly groomed sx track where he's turned thousands of laps & a true outdoor National track.

I'm over all the BS threads & predictions, but am really looking foward to Dungey & Stewart making a great race of it.
